  1. Allaah Subhaanaha wa Ta'Ala destroyed that community because it was a source of immorality and degeneracy along with worshipping false deities.

  2. Reporter at 0:28 “Doing things that women didn’t do at the time” Historian at 0:40 “Did they do those things? We still don’t know that”.

  3. I read an article about Pompeii and there were lots of places where people could buy food to eat like we do at fast food places. And if i remember correctly they also had shower houses, where families could go for showers etc. Even ones for women only and men only. Seems even in ancient times people liked fast food and to take showers or baths. Those paintings were interesting alright. God bless.

  4. I remember the last moments of Pompei. I was a war that ended that beautiful land. Fireballs were sent streaming down upon the residents of that magical land. More than just Humans were visible in those days. Such a heart breaking memory.

  5. How is this ‘new’? It should be titled ‘ongoing’. That’s what these digs are since being discovered

  6. Both in 1967 & 1997, I was in Pompeii and walked some of the cobbled streets & saw some of the rooms, "casts" of some of the original inhabitants. As time goes on and more is uncovered, I'm sure we will learn more about how these people lived before the erruption of Vesuvius happened.
History is indeed 'fortunate' that the erruption was in Ash and Not in lava, otherwise this history 'treasure' would have 'been lost' forever! It is unfortunate that people lost their lives, but hopefully sciencetists/geologists can also learn from this castrophe how or if people can be protected from volcanos.
