Stanley Tucci, Kim Cattrall, Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse react to hilarious menu translation fails, some of these are ridiculous!

1:43 I lost it at “A Variety Of Opinions”
Sausage in father-in-law is easily explainable. Originally it is "sausage in dough", which is the Russian name for a hot-dog. The Russian language, as you may know, is flective unlike English which is analytic. Flective laguages have a thing called inclination. That is, the noun changes its form depending on how it is used (to which case it is inclined). In Russian there are 6 commonly recognized inclination cases: Nominative, Genitive, Dative, Accusative, Instrumental, and Prepositional. Also, Russian language has genders for nouns (just like German or French do). Nouns of different genders incline differently. When a noun like the Russian word "тесто" (neuter gender) is inclined to the Prepositional case (that is, used with a preposition "in"), it becomes "тесте", which is also the Prepositional case form of the word "тесть" (masculine gender) meaning (surprise!) … "father in law". Thus when you feed a poorly written automatic translator like the old Google Translate with a phrase "сосиска в тесте" without additional context, it just incorrectly assumes the Nominative form of "тесте" to be "тесть" instead of "тесто", hence the poor father in law with a sausage in him.
If the "scum" was on a menu translated from a Scandinavian language it might mean something like marshmallow or foam. There are fruit-flavored Easter marshmallows here called paaskeskum.
Some of his delivery made me think of George Carlin and Suzy Eddie Izzard mixed together
Stanley Tucci’s laughing is priceless! 😂🤣
If there was a film to be made about Pep Guardiola, Tucci should be the one to play him.
Stanley and Kim catrell !!
This is why we watch Norton
Nuts with scum? How did they get Piers Morgan in the bowl?
2:20 is actually graham norton getting it wrong. The item menu whatever is translated correctly.
That was very funny
I'd like a variety of opinions followed by some strawberries with scum
This idea sounds strange in theory but wow, it’s great how every single guest loses it as they’re going through the translations. I laughed like Tucci did on the first time. Props to whoever came up with this idea for the show
I could watch Stanley Tucci all night

I keep coming back to this video. It's absolutely hilarious. It always makes me laugh out loud!
Like Stanley Tucci, this had me dying of laughter.
Really makes me cringe, that kind of social situation where you feel you HAVE to laugh because it's not that funny and it's awkward, but Stanley losing it is far funnier.
I am guilty of watching this numerous times and Stanley Tucci losing it with laughter is hilarious. But "Nuts with Scum" never fails to make me howl 😂😂😂. The way Graham Says " Oh and you can get strawberries with scum as well".
Gotta admit if that last one's on the menu I'm ordering it to go!!
I needded me some Stanley again!😂
Google Lens said "Sausage in dough" 😛 It's a bit easier these days.
When you look at Stanley Tucci, you picture him as a sophisticated, very well respected, very well put and dignified person in real life… here, he loses it because of juvenile humor. Seeing him enjoy himself like this is just priceless.
This host is delightful
wow this is fantastic. Keep 'em coming….
Did I read Incredible Hulk @ 3:21 what the hell is that?
To this day I still laugh everytime I think about the photo from a hotel where some colleagues stayed in Erbil, Iraq with a dish labeled ميت بول and underneath it, Paul is Dead. Now…apparently at something someone must have transliterated the word "meatball" using the Arabic characters " ميت بول" which could phonetically make the sound "meeet boul" … but then someone came along and tried to translate the "words" back to English… well, ميت is Arabic for dead, and there's no p sound in Arabic so the letter that makes the b sound is what is used, and thus the name Paul is بول. So, they did the best they could. Now shut up and enjoy your plate of dead paul okay? 😂
This video is legendary
Every time when I see S.Tucci eating something, I remember the scene from The Big Trouble movie where he somehow managed to put the entire Sofia Vergara's foot in his mouth!😂
Does anyone know the name of the last restaurant? Asking for a friend
Can't go wrong for 600yen
Does the last one include ice cream and whipped cream ?? 😂😂😂
"Stanley what wine goes with that"
This is the expression of a man who knows the answer, yet can not say.
Graham’s delivery is just amazing
"Whatever" reminds me of a local ice cream shop. They have a "Chef's Whatever" on their menu. The text below says something like "You pay only 5 Euros. You get whatever ice cream mix the chef wants to give you. Just order and hope he's not in a bad mood today."
Never dared to order it yet, but I love it 😂
I can watch this over and over again, and it still has me in stitches every time – especially when Stanley Tucci wipes away his tears!!
I went to a restaurant in Capaleira, in the Alpujarras region in Granada where we were treated to fried ‘bread cramps’ 😅
