I don't think it's eurocentric to like drinking wine with tteokbokki, a definitively noneuropean, nonwestern, traditionally unexpensive food. I think its an interesting and subversive spin on a drink that normally would be paired with high-class european food.

Honestly? Olive Garden is NOT as good as people think it is, it’s so bland! The last time I went there my food wasn’t even hot. Such a disappointing restaurant, especially sense it was so popular when I was a kid.

Josh's comment about medicine was so wildly relevant to my life last week lmao. my kids had a slushy at a festival and didn't like it because it tasted like medicine – i thought so, too. my husband thought we were crazy and drank them both for us.
