Vintage: 2021
Region: Emilia-Romagna, Italy
Viticulture: Organic
Grape varieties: Malvasia Bianca and Trebbiano Modenese
Franchina e Giarone Margot Bianco Frizzante is a lively white produced from grapes typical of the area of Modena. It is re-fermented in the bottle according to the ancestral method using frozen must of the same vintage, which gives a light effervescence that tingles the nose and palate. Hints of pear, apple, jasmine, and herbaceous notes on the finish. In the mouth, it is lively, pleasantly light, and almost airy and persistent. A perfect product for an afternoon to share with some friends.
Franchina e Giarone Ienide Lambrusco
Vintage: 2021
Region: Emilia-Romagna, Italy
Viticulture: Organic
Grape varieties: Lambrusco Grasparossa
Franchina e Giarone Ienide Lambrusco is a crisp and tight sparkling red from Emilia-Romagna. Fruit aromas such as blackcurrant and strawberry release from the glass, and the finish is slightly balsamic with typical mint notes. Lively and direct, the sip is fresh and pleasantly dried with a subtle tannic texture. Spontaneous fermentation, 5-day maceration, 3/4 punch downs per day. Not pressed, vinied, and aged in a fiberglass tank. After spending the winter in the tank, it was bottled during the waning moon of June. Refermentation kick-started in the bottle through the addition of frozen must from the same vintage. Not disgorged.
