It was enjoyable to see Skye and Nicola. I’ve been praying for Carlo’s mom. It always takes me off guard when Skye seems to have more of an English dialect and I expect her to have an Italian dialect. You are all such beautiful people.

I think I heard you say Skye and Nicola were going to Japan in March/April? Please post on your vlog their trip. My daughter and her husband are going to Japan in October for daughter's 30th birthday. Maybe she can get other ideas where she would like to go in Japan.
We went to japan years a go and we loved it. Miyazaki was our favorite city. The people are so friendly and everything is well organized . The have a indoor wave pool with a sandy beach and slides. Its close to a beautiful beach .
Tell Skye, she and Nicola will be driving on the opposite side of the road in Japan.
The best part of ribollita is that you can throw in whatever you have in the fridge or garden, as long as it has the tomatoes and bread.
Your kitchen is very cozy, but you now have a lovely dining room. Why didn't you sit in there?

Since I am a MAJOR over packer, I would love to see what Skye has packet in her suitcase for Japan.
Instead of Japan, it would have been interesting to hear Sky's opinion on the house in Tuscani, if she like the area, the style of life there, I don't know, so far we didn't get any feedback from her. Perhaps she doesn't feel confortable sharing her life on Youtube and that is totally understandable and respectable. Thank you for your videos and the explanation at the beginning.

Bay leaves in a little bottle cost $600 per pound in the US. Most of that is for the glass, of course.
Japan: everything will be new and different: supermarkets, playgrounds, museums, subways, etc. My daughter went to Japan for 2 weeks with NO language. She took a photo of the subway station that they started from, and went *somewhere*. Then they found a subway station, showed the photo to an attendant, and got shown the right train. Perfect!
