This is especially perfect music to use when I’m doing final strategizing and have all my beautiful freshly-cut garden and market ingredients, appliances, and tried-and-true generations-old tools and knives sitting on the counters in front of me. Ready to launch. This music is the foreplay to start it all. After all, for those of us whom truly love to cook, especially with loved ones aside us — it’s always been as much about the journey as it has been the destination. That, to us, has been the true joy of cooking. BTW, more than half a century ago, Julia Child used some of these same scores at the starts and ends of her French Cooking shows!
