I’ve just come back from a fantastic cruise on Marella Discovery. This is one of Marella Cruises five cruise ships – each one is slightly different though – and food is included at most restaurants, apart from a couple of specialty restaurants. This video takes a look at all the different dining options and restaurants on board Marella Discovery and does a quick review of each to show what they offer and some of the dishes themselves, from the main dining room (47 Degrees) to the Italian restaurant (Gallery 47) to the Snack Shack (by the outside pool) to the Glass House (by the indoor pool) to the buffet (called Islands) and the Coffee Port, a cafe serving specialty teas/coffees/cakes and ice-creams which actually isn’t included in the fare, but I just wanted to show that it exists as an option. And I also treat myself to one dinner in the specialty restaurant Kora La, which is the ship’s Asian eatery. There’s also a steakhouse specialty restaurant, but I fancied going Asian more. And it was absolutely delicious – watch the video to see the mouth-watering dishes. There was a LOT of good food on board this ship and I was very impressed.
