Way before the internet, i love watching in TLC channel with Andrew, Anthony and Jaime. Everything about foods. Missed the old times, just simply enjoying foods in other countries.
The deal with Durian is llke the smell of garlic, for many people is repulsive, but the true is that only has intensive smell and flavour. The flavour and spectra of of its smell depends of the type of Durian.
i compare this perception as the smelll of some type red melon, when they are super ripe, the smells resembles a bit of rotting food, but the flavour still sweet and good.
First time i was in Asia and I was given Durian, I just enjoyed and was able to identify the quality ones from regular.
