Gordon travels to Orange County, Southern California, to try to save an Italian restaurant from imminent destruction. Luigi’s was a successful restaurant with a great reputation until Dominic decided to retire to Italy and brought in son Tony to help run it. Familial fighting and an unappetising menu of 126 items have let the restaurant down the drain. Can Gordon fix it, or is Luigi’s beyond repair?

I'm 65 and never heard restaurant employees scream at each other or diners like Ramsey has on his show. It's all an act.
Even tho Luigi's is still open it is because it closed this location and moved to a strip mall and run a smaller restaurant … it makes sense to me … just think about it … they are in debt out their eyeballs and here comes Chef Gordon Ramsey to give them a complete make-over and new recipes straight from him … they sell the restaurant at a much higher price thanks to all the new stuff and take those recipes with them ( Hopefully ) into a smaller area in a strip mall … most of these restaurants have huge buildings and I am sure they pay out their arses for it too ….

A lot of these kitchen nightmares owners seem to be rather depressed. Ramsey does some stuff to show them what they could be and hopefully it helps.
