In 2007, Gordon Ramsay visited Campania, where owner Joseph Cerniglia was struggling to keep his New Jersey Italian restaurant afloat. While Kitchen Nightmares captured the story of frozen food, family tension, and an emotional restaurant transformation, the events that followed the show would take an unexpected turn. This video explores the complete story of Campania – from Gordon Ramsay’s visit to the restaurant’s final days – and examines the lasting impact on the family, community, and the legacy left behind.

Omg I literally watched this episode earlier today… I had hoped the restaurant did well 😔
“I’m southern Italian” no dude, you’re actually an American, from New Jersey lol
"way too much gsrkict" yeah thats not a thing lol
Just saw this. Absolutely so freaking sad.
Oh my god. I have chills. And not in a good way. May God watch over the family and God rest his soul. This is so sad.
Disliked just because smashing plates in there was stupid and Gordon knows that. Could be pieces they miss n crap. I've worked in cafes n restaurants and if I seen this I'd slap his ass. I'dc how big n bad he is with his crap. This is one of a few times he is in the wrong
“Katie? Thanks but no thanks.”😂😂
Financial problems are killing us all
Hilarious
Joe Cerniglia had a cocaine problem and was having an affair. His death had nothing to do with Kitchen Nightmares or Gordon Ramsey.
That’s so sad! 😢
Jessica. Another homewrecker. I hope you're living your best life. 🤮🤮
How do you get charged for being under the influence of narcotics when you’re in your own private property? It wasn’t very clear where he was, but if it was in his own restaurant or house, that makes absolutely zero sense.
Jersey is trash
I guess when he told that "vendor" , He'd have his money on monday, he should have. Anyone else ever hear a "vendor" say "you better.." (?)
He might have went for a stroll with mikey palmiche, that night…."hey you guys see anything? (flashes money) ,"uh ,ya he said he didnt wanna live no more.."
Great job insulting a customer Gordon such a classy prick. I think Ramsey is a fake chef after seeing him over the years he can't make grilled cheese he doesn't know how to deal with grease fires something is off
Wife left, mistress left. Can't blame anyone. How you cope with things
❤❤🎉Turn to Jesus people, he died for your sins. Repent of what the New testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel get baptized and obey the teachings of Jesus. The gospel and the teachings of Jesus are documented in Matthew Mark Luke and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, if you have faith in Jesus through your faith you will live by his teachings. God bless 😊😊😊🎉
I think he probably sold it to get more drugs. One last run.
Glad to hear the business failed immediately for the owners that tried to steal his life insurance.
It just goes to show you never really know what somebody has going on inside. We see these people in a vacuum in a very short blip of their lives that it's edited. I've met enough people in this world and struggled with depression myself to know that I could be all smiles, but inside I could be dying. There was a lady I once overheard say " some people are too sensitive for this world".
Sorry, but Joe and his old lady should've gone into modeling or acting. They're very attractive people.
So sad.
Oh Joe i didn't know you but wished you stuck it out for your family. I wish all the best to melissa and joes children
Even his obituary mentions Gordon? Wow. That’s dedication.
I don't have sympathy for parents that commit suicide. I can't understand beong that selfish when you have children that need you man. It's disgusting!!!
Just say no to drugs, just say no.
He was an infant.Nobody cares.
Outrageous that the comment from GR was at all even uttered. How tragic. 🌹🕊️🌹🤍🙏
It's sad that he committed suicide but you could tell that all of these people were clowns from the moment Gordon walked through the door. Just a bunch of people running around playing grab ass. This restaurant would have been closed within months if Gordon Ramsey hadn't shown up. Gordon prolonged the business and helped the business make money that it never would have made without him.
I dont think kitchen nightmares was factor here considering restaurant survive for while, which is abnormal for that show, which means they been doing good
People literally go and blame everyone who criticised the person who killed themselves. Stop living in delusion and understand!
More money more coke
Ramsey is to blame for all these restaurants closing! Ignore the fact you were already in debt before he got there, and only had 3 months left…but it's still his fault for helping! Gordon's help is actually harmful! 🙂 lol
Sounds like Joe was a fcuk up tbh ! Hope hes at peace now 👍
'I'm southern Italian; hence, I talk with my hands.' That's about the saddest attempt at cultural pride I've heard.
But I'm Norwegian, so I open car doors like this, not this.
Gordon visited H3H3's restaurant?
Oh my God…
So essentially what this was is ppl being fine with suicide until there buiness is at risk is kinda wild 💀
he got wasted drunk and high that night and couldnt see up from down .. and simply stumbled around and slipped off the bridge. when ur that wasted u do dumb stuff
Great video, what a tragic story. This was one of the shows best ep. I was a Josette kinda guy😂 that jersey brunette, smokey voice, marissq tomei kinda look😂
Banging your colleague while your wife and kids are at home. What a guy!
What a moromic newsgirl!!! She talks like a 2nd grader and looks trashy, so gross
This was a tragedy indeed, suicide is rather unforeseen, so check with your friends, family, and loved ones every once in awhile 🙏🏽
Thank goodness for Sloan😊
