  1. Hey Joe… If you're not a Salad lover… Just like myself a few years back… Buy yourself a bottle of Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce… And smother your Salad in it… Mix it around and grab yourself a fork and tuck in… You'll thank me later my friend… I absolutely love my Salad smothered in it buddy… 😋 Enjoy!. 👍

  2. looking at zizzi I keep thinking so many isn't italian but instead chinese food. Like the bolognese and the lasanaga I thought was a chow mein and some rice dish. I don't know if it's the bowl or what but they don't look right

  3. Should've just had the american guy talking, the other two were boring. Btw Zizzi is rank garbage. Take spaghetti and drench it in ketchup and it's a 1000 times better than zizzi.

  4. This guy says spaghetti and meatballs isnt that popular in the Uk but thats a lie
These guys say market stirring sh all the time and that's one of them ! Get the nutritious sh in the UK discontinued !

  5. As a beginner, what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know of any, please share.

  6. Jamie Oliver popularised Italian food in the UK???!!! Possibly the most ridiculous statement ever committed to the internet. Wow.

  7. I live in the UK but I have spaghetti and meatballs often? I didn’t think it was that unpopular?

  8. Very wild generalisations about how common these ‘Italian’ chain restaurants are in the UK. I know that even now in the part of Scotland I grew up in, you’re far more likely to encounter a family owned Italian restaurant and the same can be said of many of the parts of England I’ve lived in too. Though when I was growing up in the West Coast of Scotland, almost every Cafe and Chippie were owned by Italians and obviously all the cafes had brought Italian coffee culture with them but most also served made on site fresh ice cream (though most just sold vanilla there was one just down the coast a little called Nardini’s that did their own version of just about any flavour available. If I remember correctly they even used to do a Viagra flavoured one when the medication first found fame but I think it was just a spoof flavour but made the same shade of blue as the pills).

You also missed the fact that at the end of WWII, many of the Italian (and I think a fair few of the German too) prisoners of war just decided to stay and make the UK their home but as you correctly claimed there had been a steady flow of Italians emigrating to the UK throughout the 1800’s.

Oh and it’s quite funny when you think about the fact that we are all now used to terms such as cappuccino and latte in reference to coffee types but back when I was very young in the late 70’s and early 80’s, you were probably more likely to just see the option of ‘frothy coffee’ for any coffee drink served in a coffee that utilised steamed milk. Sorry, went on a slight tangent there but it always sticks in my mind because my Mum hated ‘frothy coffee’ and eventually just gave up on milk in her coffee altogether…though it was also more common to have fresh single cream in filtered/percolated coffee back then too.

  9. Never been to Zizzi. There are lots of independent Italian restaurants serving great food.

Zizzi is the equivalent of Wetherspoons or supermarket Italian

  10. You should do a video comparing all the British Italian chains: Ask, Pizza Express, Prezzo, Bella Italia, etc

  11. Good exam results? We go out nearly every week, and at least half of those will be to Italian restaurants

  12. I asked an Italian about the difference of spelling of lasagne (UK usage spelling) and lasagna (American usage spelling) and apparently it depends on the region of Italy as to how they spell it. Still irks me when the British items have are spelt lasagna on programmes like this, though.

  13. I know that we, in Britain, can hardly claim to have authentic Italian dishes, but the American versions just seem like nothing like actual Italian food to me.

  14. I always find it funny that Brits can’t believe how much better US Italian food tastes. The Italian Americans definitely take food seriously and they’re very competitive about it. Everyone benefits from it. 😋

  15. PSA:
If you live in the U.S does not have Italian parents, have never lived in Italy, you are probably not an italian.

  16. I've been to Olive Garden (in the USA and in Canada) and two different Zizzi's restaurants (Leicester, England and Newport, Wales). Olive Garden tends to be noisier, with more little children, and better for families. The Zizzi's were filled with couples on dates or groups of adults. The Zizzi's were quieter, and had less rushed service, as well. It was just a better experience than Olive Garden.

  17. GB Here – if in town, then Zizzi is one of my favourites. However, we've started going to our local (500m walk) family run Italian (Merola's) or for pizza & cocktails, Fizz'n'Flour in the next neighbourhood – say 1.2km walk.
