What is Corvina? 🍇
This red wine grape comes from the Verona area in northeast Italy. It’s one of the main grapes used to make Amarone, Valpolicella, and Ripasso wines.
Depending on the type of wine, Corvina grapes can be fresh or dried during the winemaking process. For example, with Amarone, Corvina grapes are dried using the Appassimento Method. #garyswine #wineeducation #italianwine
