Chicago is known for their Italian beef sandwiches so I had to try Portillos vs. Al’s italian beef sandwiches. I got it, let’s try it, and rate it 1-10. If you’ve tried them both let me know which is your favorite.

  2. Yeah bro, if you ain’t had a hot peppers, you should’ve just took your ass back in there and got some cause that whole sandwich is fucked. They’re not peppers ain’t it

  3. Portillo’s ain’t the same since they went corporate. Not a family restaurant anymore. Al’s still is.

  4. That shit nasty I hate soggy food, first time I tried it I was mad asf (portillos) my girl didn’t like it either but atleast my son enjoy his chili dog 😂😂😂😂

  5. I had an addiction to both restaurants. I live in Chicago. I never can decide which one i want, but portillos is the most popular, and the line is always wrapped around the corner.

  6. PORTILLOS IS UUUUUHHHKAY‼️ But hey, feel free to check out the 205 W. Wacker Drive (Wells Street Market) location and I’m more than sure Milik, Tina, Tasa, Tamya, Ethaniel, Sheryl, Royale, & Joshlyn will get you right! And afterwards, sit at the bar and have a nice drink with my good friend Reggie ♥️

  7. Sorry but the REAL Italian beefs don't come from ALs beef or portillos 😂😂😂😂😂 that gentrified ass sammich

  8. I love the chi but that ish was nasty to me. I wanted to like it. I was mad lol. Harold's fire tho.

  9. Born and raised in Chicago, Al's definitely better than Portillos… That cheese sauce for the fries bro 😂

  10. Grew up in Chicago, and Chains are NOT where you go for good Chicago food!…you gotta risk your life and go to the hoods, lil hole in the wall spots with the Ahki's behind bulletproof glass with the lil carousel they put your food on!…my family on the west side had this spot called Tasty's…I grew up on the Southside in the Robert Taylor projects, there was a spot called Rose's right behind our building.

  11. Don't know who advised you to try cheese sauce on an Italian beef sandwich, but they probably weren't born in Chicago. That's equivalent to the anti- christ… just something you never ever do.
