I Bought an Abandoned House and Spent One year Renovating / Rebuilding It | Start to Finish Timelapse. This Timelapse shows rebuilding every room transforming it from an Old house into a New Home. The first months I focused on clearing the Land and House. I explain how much this dream home cost and how to build a house/foundation/bathroom etc.

  1. Edit: wait i forgot this wasnt USD
Edit 2: wait i just did the numbers on a calculator, turns out that exactly 500k euros would be about 520k usd so considering it was around 500k£ my comment still stands for the US housing market

Half a million for ALL OF THAT? like i get it's SUPER overgrown but I've seen houses on zillow going for like 900k that are just normal townhouses, or ones that go for a mil that aren't even that good! You got a HUGE deal dude, cg!!!

  2. this is amazing, the difference between the start and the finish is unbelievable, it shows that effort pays off. though I am curious about what the outside looks like and what happened to the out buildings!

  3. 30 years ago we would have thought someone living like that was merely sad and 50-60 years ago it would have been rather ordinary. The standard of living has changed so much

  4. Nearly 22 minutes of just talking and some of the same shots. Show us the work. Show us the progress. This was just boring to watch.

  5. Awesome video! So nice to see you put work and effort into something other disregarded. So happy you also got a video out about it and that the video is doing well!!

  6. I’m 82 and I have renovated 572 house and made 200 million dollars and spent only about 20 million on renovations so it is a great investment and awesome to see your work come to life

  7. It's a great insight you and you're team have to see past what other developers can't. You turned a lovely tired old cottage into an amazing home anybody would be proud of.
p.s. What happened to the outbuildings and the land that came with the house ?
Was there any possibility of further development of these into living premises ?

  8. Well done. Great that you kept the house standing! I always thought I'd wind up doing something like this as my parents did for years, but scuppered by chronic health issues. Nice to see others making it happen.

  9. If you take that much out of your bank as a loan then wouldn't you have to pay more as interest

  10. How do you measure success? How do YOU measure success… that’s all that matters. Well done 👍 (please include footage of the garden and outdoor spaces)

  11. That little video that you didn't think good enough for your page is doing numbers!!

    Not bad 👏👏👏👏👏

  12. I love you took an old house and saw the hidden potential – this is completely stunning!

  13. The beginning had me seeing things fr, the camera pulling out for more than a minute was like an optical illusion once I looked at the wall afterwards. Did anyone else see that?

  14. I’m so impressed with this place! So many people in property development gut and redo perfectly good houses for no reason other than profit, it’s lovely to see someone restore an old home to glory

  15. I´m 7 min in and I feel like you could´ve offered the house as a film set for a horror movie….

  16. First time here and it was well worth watching until the end. Thanks for the time-lapse footage and commentary. Well done with this project 🥇🥇🥇.

  17. Did he say price was around 500K Pounds to buy this? Thats nuts.. for a dilapidated home barely standing.

  18. I would love to leave in the UK. However, its a bit too expensive for me. However, I did buy land to build on and have a lock up and leave in Europe. That being said, I am terrified of the costs to renovate the Lock up and to build. But great job.

  19. You both did lovely work. Wonderful transformation. I would enjoy seeing what the exterior looks like now and what you decided to do ultimately with the landscaping around your property.

  20. The real winner was the guy who did nothing for 100 years and sold something bought for 1k for 500k. 😂

  21. First video i have watched. half way thru. think you are amazing! I've only done minor work, siliconing, sanding, some woodwork. wouldn't know where to start. Me and my sister bought a house in east london in 2013. we lived in it, and have now decided to rent it all out to a family. Put in an offer for another house that hasn't been accepted yet. we are in our 50s and would love to do what you do, but don't have the skill or energy. Mad respect to you guys. wish i could see some scenes of you guys doing the work. i love the tree maserator! just the coolest machine ever.

  22. Would love to see the landscape once you cleared everything and the exterior of the house. Inside looks great but….where's the rest of the story.

  23. Im speechless!

You and your brother are machines!!
    WOW!!!!!
    This is CRAZY GOOD!!
Some kind of EXTRAORDINARY!! EXTRAORDINARY !!
    WONDERFUL!!!!

    WELL DONE!!
