And oh yes traveling with old suitcases… I've done that two years ago and the bottom was even more damaged after that, so that on the way back I ended up paying at the airport to let it be wraped in plastic so that it definetly wouldn't open up mid transport. x"D
Christmas this year was a few smaller things but I went to my dad and his new family in hungary and it was just so precious to see his wifes grandkids get super exited about their gifts!
Apropos same gifts … my dad and his wife got eachother the same gift just in different colours wich gave everyone a good laugh^^
My birthday was earlier this year though and as a combined gift I got a fruit/herb/mushroom drier and a giftcard to go for a korean barbecue with my mom which I'm VERY exited about! <3
Mia! So glad you've learned about the dangers of nonstick pans! I have a pet parrots and they have super sensitive lungs, so any fumes/particles from anything Teflon is deadly. 🦜 I use the GreenPan brand because it's nontoxic, durable, and free from Teflon! I'd check them out if you're still looking for some safer cookware. 🥰

Get All-Clad pans. They are fully stainless steel. Any pans with coating with scrap still. All clad will last you decades

girl where do you find that mattress inlet? me and my boyfriend have the same bed setup and i always somehow end up on the floor in the morning between the beds hahaha
I know this is late, but I LOV3 my HexClad pan!! I’ve had it for over 2 years and use a gas stove & use it in the oven. LOVE IT!! Washes up well, too! I only rarely use metal though. I bought wood & plastic years ago bc of my old pan set.
I had the same problem but the thing is just 2 times brushing suffices, before going to bed and after waking up. there is a no-no after eating at least for one hour

For stainless steel pans…… I buy old Revere Ware pans. It's totally worth it.
If you’re going for a fancy pan, imo All Clad is the best!! Expensive but no worries about coatings, oven safe, and heavy enough to be used for self defense if necessary 😂
Ever since I became a mom I only wish for useful things for the household. So this year I got a rug, a toaster and new glasses. Oh and knitted socks from my mom 😂😂 I wouldn't have it any other way. I dont need anything else.

Make sure Stuart doesn’t have any cavities either. I was a dental assistant and studying to be a dental hygienist before I became a stay at home mom, you can “catch” cavities. Cavities is just bacteria in your mouth. So just like any other bacteria, it can transfer to other people. So whoever you kiss, share drinks with, or share food with, can actually potentially give you cavities. OR you’re not using proper technique and or good toothpaste, toothbrush, and floss.
@moremiamapes I have entire set of hexclad for 2 plus years.. It has help up very well! My mom accidentally put the pot and lid in the oven to make a roast at 400 degrees for two hours! She thought that was ok to do…anyway it was fine!
I have cheap pans that have lasted me a while because I take great care of them. My momma taught us well growing up. We would NEVER use non plastic spoons in her pans

Do you use a mouse while using your laptop or you use the pad? I’d say it is much better to use a good quality mouse if you use it a lot. I was an architecture major and would be by laptop so much. Try different ergonomic mouses each for about 1-2 weeks, so your hand and brain gets used to it and see which one is good and comfortable for you.
I got a sad break-up shortly before Christmas, which I'm having a hard time getting over. But also a mug and socks with candy canes from my niece. Other than that, we don't give gifts on Christmas anymore. Only my niece gets some.
Got myself a Lego set for Christmas, though 🙂

i feel ya with the pans! I tried doing all stainless steel and like the pots but not a fan of the pan (everyone says you have to heat it a certain way) but ended up asking for a ceramic set that I really like. I realized I just have to accept that my pots and pans aren't going to last forever sadly. BUT I dont use metal at all on them. I use silicone or wood. And for wood I have learned to not put it in dishwasher and let it fully air dry to prevent mold. I do wish I could use metal because my silicone whisks don't last very long and are kinda hard to find but they make the perfect scrambled eggs.

About electric toothbrushes, they really do make a difference. (and also, the top brush you can change out easily so you generally can share the electric part and just change out the top brush) My dad works as a tooth technician and so for him good health of my teeth is very important, so as long as I can remember I have been using an electric toothbrush. My boyfriend was new to it when he stayed over at my place and I gave him a top brush to try it out. He used to have very bad teeth, even is a bit afraid to go to the dentist, but since I said he should by an electric toothbrush and he has been using it daily, for the last couple of years he did not have any cavities anymore, making him also more at ease of going to the dentist!
Hi Mia, you probably won't see this, but if you do, cavaties often don't actually have anything to do with how well or often you brush your teeth. Instead it is about your saliva, there's an enzyme that some people have (often women) in their saliva and it makes your saliva slightly acidic so it doesn't neutralize the ph in your mouth as well which makes it easier to get cavaties. Another cause can be if you sleep with your mouth open and drool or if you're on some type of medication that makes you produce less saliva. If it's because you sleep with your mouth open perhaps mouth tape could help, if you don't produce enough saliva you can get something to help stimulate so you'll produce more again. If it's because your saliva is a bit more acidic i can't remember what you can do about it but i'll encourage you to look into it and find someone who knows a lot more than me on the subject! I just remember reading about it, but while it's important to brush our teeth it's actually our saliva that plays the biggest role in keeping our teeth healthy <3
You should get a lecreuset pan, they are really good (cast iron pans) and I know they’re an investment but they are so worth it.❤
