  1. I think I’d move that downstairs kitchen closer to the door and put a downstairs bathroom in the corner next to the stairs to the taverna. I like the big upstairs bedroom, but I don’t love how small and narrow the 2nd bedroom is. I’m not sure what I would do with that. 🤔

  2. I love all your ideas with the homes, and all your insights on what’s traditional too! I also absolutely love that you don’t sugar coat everything. You don’t gloss over everything and try to make things sound better than they are. You often advise what’s old, what needs to be replaced, what doesn’t work, what needs work, and even what just isn’t to your taste. Many other channels do not do that. You really are like having a great friend in Italy who has your back and will tell you like it is. Thank you for all you do Dave!

  3. Love this one Dave. Wish I was ready to snap it up.
The entrance is wasted space though. It would be good to be able to use it as a sitting room/lounge but the wall between the two would have to come down or a wide opening created to give space. I wouldn't want to cover up the only light coming into that room with a bathroom. If there was to be one it would have to be configured elsewhere.
Living area on middle floor painted white….see how the blue tile floors look with it. Retiling and walk in shower and probably new toilet in the bathroom.
Upstairs….remove those cupboards behind door in narrow bedroom, fit out for walk in wardrobe with single bed built in somewhere and desk/make up area. There'd have to be a narrow toilet/shower built into corner of bedroom too above where downstairs bathroom is.
    One can dream.

  4. Dave … I love your enthusiasm… it comes right through the video and it is infectious! My family will be in Abruzzo next July … Aielli to be exact. Will keep watching and you never know what might happen! Cheers

  5. I love listening to your ideas. The blue grout doesn’t bother me at all, and that gorgeous tile floor upstairs is perfect! Thanks for sharing. 😊

  6. Great value with the public transport availability & the condition of the property. Would remove the downstairs kitchen, keep the one on the first floor. Paint all the walls white…new appliances and…..perfect. Move in tomorrow lol.

  7. Would you talk a bit about the weather and seasons in these areas. Temp, rain, snow, heat, how l9ng summers and winters are etc.

  8. I would turn the Catina into the living room where everyone can hang out together. Having the bus and train so close is fantastic! I love the entry! Very pretty. Lots you can do with this space. Great find ❤❤❤❤

  9. ❤ What im thinking its really a 1 bedroom. Definitely needs a half bath & storage upstairs.
Down stairs looks like fake stone. If your a handy person. Its a bargain. For me to much to renovate for my taste.
    Lots of beautiful moutain views

  10. What a beauty Dave! Good value for such a neat, tidy & well-kept property. I am sure this one won't last long at all. Thanks for your efforts Dave 🙏

  11. I would keep the kitchen on the ground floor (just change the cupboards) and the dining room in the cantina area. And leave the entrance as the entrance to the home, go up the stairs, remove that kitchen, and make a huge lounge area

  12. Stunning property. I would definitely take your advice and have a bathroom downstairs in the taverna and keep the wife down there. I would throw her down a bit of pizza from time to time and she could cook some spaghetti and garlic bread in the little kitchen. She could make sure that the fire is always lit to heat my area upstairs. I could then make upstairs a beautiful bachelor pad . 😊😊. Stunning idea 👌👌👍

  13. I was interested in moving to Italy, BUT all the new rules are very big deterrent to ITALY. I am looking in other areas in Europe.
