  1. Andre' most newer air conditioning has a filter that is known as a HEPA filter which filters very tiny particles from the air BEFORE it gets cooled. Once it's cooled it is nearly impossible for colds and viruses to stay alive, it's the same principle behind why it's always so freezing cold, because it kills bacteria which needs 98.8•F to live. Anything lower in temp will kill the bacteria, virus and cold & flu germs. My sisters house was fitted with a new a.c. system which has a pre-ac filter and an Ultre violet light system which kills any of the bad "bugs, germs, viruses and stuff like it". She has to have it because she lives in Florida very near a swamp and her house is very prone to mold without it. She is on the liver transplant list and it is one of the conditions she has to meet to quality for transplant or she will die.
Canola oil is highly processed leaning heavily on a chemical process to strip the little oil the canola seed has. It's NOT a healthy solution, neither is corn or grape seed oils according to my cardiologist. He says oil and Avocado oils are the only ones approved of for heart patients

  2. I am an American who has been to Costco and in the parents defense, Costco is very cold.

The vegetable that was in the video was Artichoke and Sea Bass is fish.

  3. Yeh it makes you sick 😉 ! Fresh air in the Antarctic but you don't leave your windows open. It is probably way better air than Rome in the summer.

  4. When you make your voyage to the US. Airconditioning will be like your inoculation from the heat and or cold of "Death".
you will love and accept it! same air no matter what dude. Too dry air in the west bad for you too humid air in the east bad for you. AC smooths out the edges……… Wait until you get into a black rental car in July………. you will be praying to the AC gods for that beast to cool down. "My friend"

  5. You'll like the next video. They visit some amazing places, including the Grand Canyon. Canola comes from a plant with a not-so-marketable name, rapeseed, so the Canadian company that invented the process to produce the oil came up with the name from "Canada" and "oil".

  6. I watched this before and when they tell them that Americans think this is Italian when talking about Italian dressing it always irritates me. Because Americans don’t think it’s Italian (or if you do you don’t know your history) it’s literally called that because of the Italian immigrant who came up with it. He doesn’t bother to do research and explain that it’s a homage to its creator. I always like to point out to Italians who complain about tomato based sauces in America that the tomato is not native to Italy and the only reason they have it is because it originally came from the Americas. I don’t like seeming confrontational like that but I get sick and tired of people acting like America swiped their food. We are a giant melting pot of cultures from around the globe that over the last century has melted its food together to create American food. Which is a combination of food culture around the world that’s been modified over generations of families of mixed backgrounds from German to Chinese to Native American to everywhere. And ultimately it is it’s own thing. While it’s confirmed about the tomato it’s speculated and debated as to whether or not pasta was brought to Italy by way of Asia. Either way you don’t see Americans screaming at Italians for stealing anything tomato based. Why? Because food changes of centuries and to be honest in a thousand years what’s considered a cultural food now in a country can very well change due to one small thing. Foods that are currently “original” in places now weren’t always there, they just became staple then as time went on were considered as “original” to them but that’s not how evolution of culture and civilizations work. Anyway the Italian dressing comment always peeves me as it’s ignorant

  7. Air conditioning does not make you sick, it’s filtered air and viruses and germs do not like the cold air and can’t thrive in air conditioning. If you live in the US where summers get so hot and humid AC is vital to prevent you from overheating to the point you end up hospitalized for heat stroke. Air conditioning removes humidity from the air and the air is less able to make you sick because germs and viruses love humidity. When you come to America, Andre and visit the South you will be thanking God for air conditioning, lol 😂
These people are so disdainful of America they should have stayed in Italy. Nightmare in-laws 😂

  8. To be fair there are specialty shops that you go to for imported or freshly made products. Big stores don’t offer them as much because they’d have to buy in bulk and they might not sell them. BTW all air conditioners have filters that “catch” everything and you change them often! Can’t wait to see you here!

  9. 7. Canola is an oil made from the winter crop "Oilseed Rape", the seeds of which are also called "Rapeseed", IIRC.

  10. FYI: Caesar salad was invented in the early 1920s by Caesar Cardini, an Italian chef who owned a restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico. He moved to Tijuana from California to avoid Prohibition, and it was there, on July 4th, 1924, where Caesar is believed to have invented the Caesar Salad.

  11. FYI: The name 'Canola' was registered as a trademark in Canada in 1978. The name comes from Can as in Canada and ola as in oil! The plant was bred by Canadian scientists, Dr. Baldur Stefansson and Dr. Keith Downey. Canola is a member of a large family of plants called crucifers. Crucifers are easy to identify because the four yellow flower petals form the shape of a cross. The canola plants grow to a height of one to two metres. The yellow flower produces seed pods that are about 5 centimetres in length and there is an average of 60 to 100 pods per plant. Each seed pod contains 20 to 30 tiny, round seeds which are 1 mm. in diameter. When it is ready to harvest, the plant changes colour from green to light yellow. These tiny seeds are crushed to extrude canola oil.

  12. That lemon blueberry cake is delicious! We just finished one at our house. Air conditioning and heating circulate the air the same way. You can only get sick if viruses are already in the air, no matter the season or if the heat or air is on. Believe me, you don’t want to try to live in the southeast or southwest without out. Actually other parts of the country can be very hot in the summer. I live in central Washington State, it can get hot here despite the fact we’re so far north, we’ve even had high temperatures of 113°. 16:58

  13. Caesar Salad is delicious, even if it's not Italian!
True. No Portuguese butter. Closest they have is Irish Butter.
No. I don't believe air conditioning makes you sick!
We get a lot of out out-of-season produce from places like South America and New Zealand.
The meat at Costco is very high quality in my experience! I often buy pork butt roasts, steaks, and chicken there.
Canola Oil is Rapeseed Oil. One of the oldest vegetable oils. Of course "rape" has a bad connotation.

  14. Wow. Mom is super negative, and I don’t think I’d like to meet her. Gotta stay away from grouchy, negative people.
    ♥️ from Houston, Texas 🇺🇸🇵🇹

  15. If air conditioning makes you sick then does a fan turned on do the same, or the wind blowing? All it is is air ran through cooled pipes with FreeOn. The air is just cooled but is blowing out from a fan or blower. It also has an outlet for air and ia filter for germs and dust. The same thing as if you put a block of ice in front of a fan on a hot day to cool down Your refrigerator is also cooled the same way as the AC.

  16. Canola oil is the same as European rapeseed oil (óleo de colza, olio di colza). The only difference is that EU law prohibits the raising of genetically modified canola/rapeseed plants and U.S. and Canadian laws do not.

  17. i have lived in Nevada for over 20 years at it gets to 115 degrees here you have to have AC.Ive never know any one who has gotten sick from AC

  18. There's also Costco in Spain and the UK. It might make for a fun vlog if you went there and did some shopping. Just an idea.

  19. More likely to get sick from the handle on the shopping cart that has been coughed on fourteen times in the last day..😅
