Again, I’m so sorry about the loss of your mother-in-law. We are in that stage of life as well as our parents are in the high 80s and it can be very difficult. Prayers for you all.. I loved your information about the yacht club on MSC and that is really exciting. We are actually thinking of spending a month in Hawaii which could hold off on my cruises for a little bit, but that’s also something I’d love to do.!

My favorite drink was on Holland America in Alaska. It was called Penicillin and had a single malt and a double malt scotch with a ginger syrup and a piece of ginger. I'd never had ginger before and I popped it in my mouth and bit into it. I was immediately sorry when it felt like my mouth had caught fire. I won't make that mistake again!

I love your channel. I have learned a lot in planning for my upcoming, family cruise. You have a beautiful family & your support for your MIL will be a wonderful thing to remember in years to come. ** My fave cocktail on a cruise is a lemon martini, however that aperol spritz sounds right up my alley! I'm trying that for sure. Sometime in the future may I suggest your cruising out of my home Port Canaveral, which is the second busiest port in the US. The area has a lot to offer such as Kennedy Space Center (LOVE), Cocoa Beach is right there & Disney World is 59 miles away. It may not be as classy as Lauderdale, but it's great!
So sorry about the passing on of your MIL. But – 96 – wow! That’s just wonderful. She lived a long and hopefully very good life.
Thanks for all you post! Loved this first post of the year! You have wonderful resources. We went on our first 3 night cruise last March with family that were first time cruisers. We will be going on that same Celebrity ship and itinerary in Feb/March for 3 nights! I can't wait to see how you like it! We did Key West in September for the first time! Highly recommend the scooters and the chocolate dipped key lime pie!!!!! We will also be traveling on NCL Encore in September through Alaska – and we are thrilled to be in The Haven! Can't wait for that experience! Totally agreed with you ports/least favorite, but we too find ourselves revisiting them! LOL! ENJOY!

My favorite drink on a cruise is a sweet blender drink to have by the pool. I like to get whatever the special of the day is. So long as it's sweet and slushy, I'm happy!

I’m so sorry for your loss of your mother-in-law. You’re all in my thoughts and prayers. May your memories give you comfort and peace. We went on back to back cruises in September in the Mediterranean on the Celebrity Equinox. It was amazing! I have loved many places we have cruised. But that was my favorite. Live streams would be fun!
We have just come back from our second time at Le Meridian Dania Beach before our cruise. Wonderful hotel with a huge and I mean huge heated swimming pool.
Aperol spritz mine as well. Then Rum Mules, and Lavendor LemonDrop Martinis
We love love Celebrity. We would never do a 3 day, could not justify the cost of airfare from Canada. We try and make our stay no less than 10 days, and next winter will do more than 14 days.
Norwegian Cruise Line's Rieseling- Shades Of Blue is my new favorite wine!! Definitely worth a try if you like wine!

We did Azamara over Covid and they were fantastic, food was excellent but ship is quiet and more about meeting people.
