  1. What amazes me is that in 4000 years from now, some archeologists will struggle to study our remains and buildings,,,LOL. I hope they'll find the information they need.

  2. Whenever I watch a video from Pompeii I get very sad, especially when I see cats from human bodies! Sad!😢

  3. It's truly impressive to see the secrets of ancient civilizations unveiled through modern technology! This episode perfectly blends science and history, giving us a deeper look into what lies beneath the ocean. Thank you, National Geographic, for this amazing production

  4. Well iv been watching this for 1 7 mins n there have been 6 ads 4 in the 1st 5 mins..too much nat geo going somewhere else blessings

  5. I once found what very well could have been an ancient pit. There was this area full of dirt settled over many years, when I got all the dirt out it was identical to an old pit.

  6. SOMALIA PEOPLE'S ARE CREATED 7 WONDERS ANCIENT PHEROHESOH THEY 2 POWERFUL KINGDOM,S THE OF PUNT AND ALSO THEY CONCRETE IN THE WORLD ANFORGETEB EL

  7. The end of the world as we know it? Theorist warns humanity is teetering between collapse and advancement: d.o.a…

  8. I cant watch documentaries like this anymore. We've colonized everything, including other peoples histories and mythologies… mainstream archeology is just another facet of that

  9. From the beginning. I want to hear the peoples of the lands. Not any of yous. We need to be careful on how we understand everything accepted into ours minds. Science is only one perspective

  10. Earth and space are truly marvelous and amazing, together they naturally erode civilizations through time and extinction events. Earth would not survive if it could not cleanse itself. One day, all the concrete, sky scrapers and cars that mankind has polluted earth with, will also be buried beneath lava, sand, dirt or water.

  11. I’m a documentary junkie. Nobody does these better than nat geo. No stupid ai voice narration. No gawd awefull music. No role playing. Amazing cinematography. A pleasure to watch.

  12. If someone could have take initiative to help this generation.
.Get everything straightened for the sake of the 3 n 4 generation to come after us

  13. The only issue with utilizing modern technology is… looting the environment and the remanent of a grave that they probably were responsible for causing. If a civilization is conquered and the winner rides off in the dark with all the wealth, slaves, and glory of their ancestors. What on Earth makes it ok to come back and dig up their hidden bones and the gems and personal possessions that they were laid to rest with. War, natural disasters and greedy people are not cool ❤

  14. 31:15 she has never lived in the real world outside school and parents house. Empires obviously have a strong military. Rome being super obvious. People always want to take something from someone else

  15. I’d love to see an Egyptologist react to exploring Assassins Creed Origins. Climbing the Lighthouse takes your breath away

  16. Tell the history correctly and tell the truth. I saw in the film's text that some of the text was in Persian, but you didn't say anything about it.

  17. I'm old enough to remember when NatGeo only reported on facts and current studies.

this is cute though. reminds me of the fake docs NG made about mermaids and dragons back in the day.

  18. I love the informative, educational Nat-Geo documentaries. I get something new out of them EVERYTIME I watch.

Interesting bit of information that grabbed my brain in this one; the marvels of Ancient Egypt being 3000yrs old. As fast as humans have progressed in the last 500yrs, I'd think that the advancement in Ancient Egypt would be so much more, in 3000yrs.

If we started our (America) 'clock' at 1500ce, look how far we have come in just 500yrs. How much more advanced will be in another 2500yrs?
