In the states one of the main reasons I gave up RVing was because of barking dogs, mainly wanting attention. It ruined the experience.

Hello Bobby and Amanda, Bobby seems disinterested being in Italy, but as a subscriber to all of your channels mainly in Sailing Doodles I think this type of travelling specially in Europe will become my favourite just a bit tired of the bikinis and pointless sailing, this new stuff is great, more please…who agrees?

Don't you need a boat in order to call yourself a navy? I mean. Technically this isn't a "sailing doodles navy" if you literally have no boat, and the boat you had on order…. is no longer on order. Thank God he got doodles, or we would have nothing else to call this man's channel other than bobby. And you guys really need to look up Sailing Uma. They are another sailing channel with no boat. They are working on their boat in the boatyard in Italy somewhere, they have a camper van they live out of, and they want to do the same thing bobby does, Sail and glamp. You really should meet them. Sailing uma is the boat, and Kika the girl who runs the channel has a fun personality!!

Salaries in Italy are very low, however the culture is all about the family, and the family will own many small houses, apartments and holiday homes. So it's very normal for Italians in the 20's, and 30's to not own their home and not even rent it, but just be staying in an apartment that someone in their family owns. Also it's normal for many Italians to live at home with their parents until they are in their 30's.
I would recommend that you don't just go to the most tourist restaurant, but walk around the town and find a place that looks nice and has plenty of locals in it, then the food will be amazing and the price will be lower than the tourist places.
And walking around town in the evening and going into a few cafes and bars is a relaxing way to spend the evening in an Italian town, better than going back to your camper van and watching a movie, you will get to see the culture of the place.
Italy is our favourite country in the world. They have an eye for beauty: houses, villages, food, wine, fast cars….You should go to a village and go to a restaurant where there are only Italians! Authentic food and wine. Try lemon cello dessert wine. 12 euros each for 3 courses with wine! Go to the hill villages in Tuscany. Best ever Glamping Doodles.

A New Malibu or Mastercraft are $129,000. In 2008 I bought a 1992 Malibu for around $8,500. I repowered it last year for $13,000. The powerplant should last another 30 years. Europeans typically get one month of paid vacation to use every summer. The campgrounds in southern Europe are built to cater to campers who are staying put at that location for two to four weeks (as opposed to the North American-style of cruising around in camper vans)
