Wet the palm of your hands with warm water using a small bowl. This will process will keep the meatballs moist. Start rolling meatballs, roll each meatball the same desired sized. This should make about 25-30 meatballs. Place the meatballs into the sauce as it simmers and cook for 1 hour in a partial covered pot.

  1. Antoinette, where did you get the beautiful plate/bowl that the pasta package was sitting on? Does it give the makers name in the back? I have been searching for plates and bowls like that. 🌸💖 My nonna also cooked her meatballs in the sauce. She was from Northern Italy and the sauce was a meat sauce though. I'm going to try your recipes too! Thank you!

  2. Super happy I found your cooking you tube/Instagram channels. I just need to get more confidence that I can go out of my box & cook these things. Currently I cook really simple with few ingredients, but you have really inspired me. I am trying to find a good set of wooden spoons, do you have any recommendations? Thank you for your time.

  3. Hey Antoinette, I am curious what you do with the sausage and pork after it has cooked in the sauce. Do you cut it up and put it back in the sauce, or do you remove it and serve it separately? I see that at the end of the video you said to cook the sauce for 1.5hrs, but I am curious what happens with the meats after this. Thank you.

  4. Antoinette – thanks for this! I love trying new things. Quick question – i find that I cant stir the sauce with so much meat in my pan, especially with raw meatballs. How do you stir the sauce without breaking the meatballs? Ideally, not burning the bottom of the sauce. Thanks!

  5. I recently made your awesome sauce after seeing you on Drew Barrymore's show. I loved the sauce first day but next day it tasted bitter. I'm guessing it may be the red wine I used. Can you suggest a good red wine I can use, please?

  6. OMG almost like my family has made sauce and meatballs as long as I can recall. Just yummy! Have used Locatelli grated cheese for 0ver 50 years!!!
