I want to suggest you "fratta minore" wine priducer ti taste good wine in Castel S.Pietro, just some kilometers from Bologna. I appreciate their albana white wine, they have also a good rosé that my wife loves.
If you love prosecco a tour in veneto region is paramount. Cartizze of Valdobbiadene in particular, "le colture" agriturismo is a place where I bought it for Christmas (they ship 😊)

We were in Montepulciano in Sept, and did a wine tour and tasting with a meal and 4 different wines….the view was unbelievable, along with the experience. Driving was scary. Cortona is also worth a visit….. and also worth a visit.

I was born In Tuscany I moved away 20 years ago now i live NorthWest WA State .Here beautiful to but Tuscany much Better.
Sounds like an awesome adventure. Not sure I would be able to drive after all those tastings. I did the Northern California wine tasting and I got drunk. I was young and dumb back then, so I definitely over did it. But, we hit about 5 wineries in 1 day. Probably, should not have did that many in 1 day. 🤣
