Ingredients
– 255g flour
– 170g eggs

Method
1. Mix the flour and eggs in the bowl lift mixer until a dough forms using the paddle attachment.
2. Knead the dough for a few minutes using the dough hook until it becomes smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
3. Using KitchenAid’s pasta attachment, roll out your pasta a few times starting at the thickest setting and drop it down by one setting each time until you get to number 3.
4. Then change to the spaghetti roller attachment and feed your dough through it.
5. Once it’s cut, dust it lightly in flour and store it in the fridge uncovered until you’re ready to cook it.

  1. Andy you’re an amazing chef but the skill I admire in you the most is the way you rip cling wrap without starting a war with it 😂🙌🏻

  2. I bought that machine and several of its attachments for my son for his birthday and he and is wife love it, especially for making homemade pasta.

  3. I usually look down on ads.

However, this stand mixer and the pasta attachments are genuinely worth every penny for the home cook. Extremely well made, great kitchen investment.

  4. Hi Andrew, I love your work, I'm a elementary chef in Kenya, I would really love to have a mixer like yours. Starting a business is a big investment, I believe I can.❤richard

  5. I like my Kitchenaid stand mixer but I bought the Kitchenaid Fresh Prep Grator Slicer kit which is cheap plastic Chinese junk. I spent $100 on it and after using it maybe 6 times a piece of cabbage for caught up in between the feed chute and the feed plunger and would not come apart. It finally broke.

The lesson here is while they claim to be a proud "American Company" they get off shore junk made and slap their name on it to fool consumers. Just because it says Kitchenaid don't assume that it's of any quality.

  6. Looked at the price, had mini heart attack so settled with AliExpress's kneading machine which had good reviews.

  7. Any tips on bowl lift vs tilt? Looking at the artisan tilt but have heard it struggles with some doughs

  8. मलाई पनि यो मन पर्यो तर कसरी किन्ने?कति मुल्य पर्छ होला?

  9. I love spaghetti and meatballs. I have a low carb recipe due to having too many diabetics in the family plus it is a really forgiving recipe so I play with it a lot. Like nobody knows when I'm going to just throw in a grated onion on a whim. The only kitchen aid tools i don’t have are the pasta ones. I'm not sure why I can get a shreader set for 20.00 and the the set the attachment he used is almost 300.00. I can't even find the pasta press to make maccaroni.

  10. ive yet to see him use the mixer in any video..He uses a different mixer..But not this one.
    I wonder why.

  11. I just made homemade ravioli last night as I’ve done many times in my life. I love using kitchen aid attachments and taking the sheets of pasta to 8 that way my sheets are see through and paper thin. I filled mine with ricotta, parm, and basil!

  12. My mom just got me one a few days ago as an early Christmas present, a cherry red Artisan series 5 quart one, plus the pasta attachments. I just made fettuccine tonight with it, and this thing is an absolute miracle machine!

  13. You can also make manti and a delicious Turkish pastry, 'Su böreği', with this pasta machine.🥰❤️

  14. What’s the thickness you’re flattening to? My cutter never goes all the way through beyond setting #3!
