About us 👫:
We’re Sam and Chris, a wife-and-husband duo who traded our RV life in the U.S. for a new adventure as American expats in Italy. 🌍 🇮🇹
In 2018, we launched our blog, Boozing Abroad, to help travelers find the best local bars, breweries, wineries, and distilleries while exploring new places.
In 2023, we documented our cross-country road trip from Phoenix to Alaska (and back to Virginia!) on this channel.
But in 2024, we started a new chapter as expats living in Italy, diving into Italian culture, everyday life abroad, and the joys (and challenges) of moving to Italy as Americans.
Join us as we explore Italy, uncover hidden gems, and share tips for living abroad, and more. Whether you’re curious about expat life in Italy or looking for travel inspiration, we’re here to share our world with you!

It seems you're having some fun in this Italian adventure… I'm little disappointed that you didn't know "Arena di Verona". Next time you have to study before to visit a new place.😁😁😁😁
Bozen is better, as it is a very German tradition that kind of xmas market you are looking for! ❤😊
🥂
verona is the most beautiful city ever
Very interesting video! Just for your info, in Bozen-Bolzano, almost 70% of the population is german mother tongue.
Happy Holidays, good job! Next time visit also Merano and Bressanone, their markets are even better than Bolzano's. When in Bolzano go eat something in a typical restaurant like "cavallino bianco" to taste their Austrian-italian specialities and taste good white wine such as gewurztraminer, silvaner, blauburgunder or spiced red like sanct magdlener.
In January I like to visit Genova, having focaccia and cappuccino for breakfast, pansotti, pesto and sea food. It's perfect for visiting old palaces of great explorers, merchants and maritime museums. Cinque terre, Recco, Savona, San Remo, the italian and even french Riviera are just empty from tourists and magical in January. If you haven't still visited, Montecarlo, Nice and Cannes are reachable in just one day trip from there.
Enjoyed this video so much! Buone feste 🎉
Il tennista "jannik Sinner ( nr 1 ) " è tirolese . Non lontano da Bolzano .
