Enjoy a Christmas visit to the largest selection of food and drink in one place in the whole of Italy.
The publicity for this attraction which opened in 2024 promises ‘Grand Tour of Italy – 5,000 steps through 20 regions of Italian cuisine!’ This gastronomical paradise is just to the North East of Bologna and represents a world of its own!
Not only that it’s wrapped itself up with loads of Christmas attractions – a Christmas market, giant sleigh led by Rudolph and his crew of reindeers, skating rink and Santa’s house – not to mention a racetrack and plenty of entertainment for young and old alike!
‘Travel in the Know’ almost stumbled across this attraction by accident as an alternative to visiting Bologna’s main Christmas market which was drenched with rain on the day we were set to film .
Nevertheless, we share some shots of downtown Bologna and her festive appearance.
Back to the Grand Tour of Italia, Philip decides to try a local mortadella sandwich, tortellini in Parmesan sauce with balsamic vinegar, and abandons Bolognese food for dessert where he feats on Sicilian delicacies cannoli and Cassata instead!
Find out how Philip rates the experience and whether his day is saved by this indoor Christmas experience.
