The Christmas decor is lovely and cozy.
I love it.. that you are down to earth and real with decorating. Guess what? The PANTONE color of the year is MOCHA. Like you showed. Do it. It really warms everything up and also is easily matchable. The rich color not the wimpy beige! Love it.
I believe the green is a great color. Just embrace it and paint the walls, windows and shelf with the green you were using

Totally for the idea of embracing the darkness! What about a deep plummy brown? You could easily add seasonal colour accents in soft furnishings, I am sure! This Capability green is truly fantastic and is now figuring on my beloved greens list! Your kitchen decorations are stunning and for sure, you have ever ready to be proud of them! I also think that darker colors for the TV room are a good direction. Especially if you paint the shelves, pannels and wall in the same color
Hola Nicki. We have a small snug in our house which is already quite dark. When we first moved in to this house it was a quick fix to paint everything white. After getting all renovations out of the way started to want it cosy, so decided on a sage green for the snug. It's dark, but love it & so cosy. I think the brown would be perfect especially with your settee being a neutral colour. Can't wait to see what you decide. Merry Xmas & love from Spain ❤️🌲❤️🌲♥️

Nice sofa, it won't stay beige for long with dogs and shoes on it haha. Just an idea maybe next time you go to the U.K via car you can collect the 'extra piece' for the sofa? Carlo is like a one-man forest machine! Beautiful season decorations. The colour combo you'd shown us all on the mobile was really nice! I'm working out how to use that combo myself, thanks!

Your home is coming along beautifully. I love your casual style, especially color! I too, love using color for design. My suggestion for the TV room is to paint the walls the same color as the terra cotta tile, would make very cozy. Option 2 would be to bring the Bordeaux (from your dining area) color for the walls, trim, etc in the TV room. Good Luck!!

For TV rooms, the darker the better. Light just makes a glare on the television.

Love the decorations you have done, very artistic, Carlo is doing a great job in the woods too. Well done both of you. I did a mauve colour in our lounge on two walls and had that for a few years but then wanted it lighter so did a pale lilac which I am preferring. The nice thing about paint is you can change it easily if you want to 😊
Love the transformation in the old kitchen! I would entertain that golden colour you and Skye were after for the t.v room shelves in place of the Capability colour. Leave the walls light and neutral…accessorize the sofa and room with jewel tones, i.e emerald, ruby, amethyst, gold….embracing the dark, but not overwhelmingly so.
