theres no fathomable way these expenses should fall on the tax payer. im on disability and when i need medical transportation they restrict what they cover down to the Kilometer.i get one meal per day if the travel exceeds a day long.accomodation has to be the least expensive option available.anything above the bare minimum is out of my pocket. politicians should have some kind of restriction to expenses and the cra should be allowed to audit those expenses to ensure they were within reason and not in excess.i believe the persons responsible for authorizing the expense coverage be held responsible for recovering costs that excede basic needs.
