We taste a Piemonte Cortese wine from Northwest Italy from the Family vineyard of Araldica.
A white wine made from the Cortese grape is usually used in Gavi wine.
The colour is very similar to the inside of a conference pear.
On the nose, the first impression is of bubble gum!
Followed by a scent of fruit salad sweeties.
Taste-wise, there are several different phases of taste. First, the bubble gun flavour comes through, followed by the fruit salad sweetie taste, then the juiciness of an apple, ending with a grapefruit dryness.
In texture terms, the feel starts off with a very round soft feel, then comes an oily feel followed by an acidity.
