In today’s video, we head to a restaurant in Mount Dora for a refresh review at Olive Branch. Olive Branch is an Italian Mediterranean restaurant that we have been to a few times but not in a while. We didn’t get a reservation but later in the evening it might be worth getting one. The inside isn’t too big because they have a nice outdoor patio area with live music. As far as the menu goes it’s got some unique options being both Italian and Mediterranean. We decided to try a couple of Italian entrees. One was the broccoli pasta and the tortellini bolognese. We thought both were good and also the portion sizes were good. The one complaint we did have is that it was pricey. It’s didn’t take too long other than waiting on the bill. This gives you another option if you’re looking for a restaurant in Mount Dora.

Stay tuned for another video coming soon. Thanks so much for watching! God Bless!!!

  1. We moved here in 2019 and loved the Olive Branch. However, a few years ago something changed. Prices went up, which is ok, but the quality and quantity went way down. We tried again several months ago and were disappointed still. The staff is always very friendly. It’s a shame because that was our favorite. (Chicken piccata is/was my go to)

  2. I live up in Jax and love the mt Dora area.
Made a trip to Venetia Gardens A few years ago and love 2 hour the trips there.

  3. Your review of Olive Branch from 2 years ago might have been the first video of yours I watched. From that review I resolved to try the restaurant, and for my last birthday we stayed at the Lakeside Inn (another of your reviews). After trying Lakeside's chicken pot pie, again per your review – I agree, fantastic! – we hit Olive Branch the next night. We walked away a little disappointed, sorry to say. But you won again the next night when we tried Goblin Market. Wow! What a great restaurant that is! Clearly, the best of the three Mt. Dora restaurants we tried.

  4. At least a salad was included. $27 for pasta and broccoli & $35 for shrimp scampi and $29 for chicken alfredo is a non starter. At these prices, you think the cheap white tile in the dining room would be replaced w/ a beautiful carpet. The outside patio looked nice.
