Glasgow foodies who love Italian cuisine rejoice – there’s a new menu in town you’re bound to want to try.
La Lanterna – in the city’s West End – have gone out of their way in a bid to create the ‘best risotto in the world’ among other dishes.
Head Chef Luca Conreno travelled to the Piedmont region of Italy to discover new flavours as he and his staff aimed to create an exclusive dining experience for guests of La Lanterna.
In a collaboration with beer brewing company Menabrea Birra of Northern Italy, a new beer-infused food menu has been brought over to Glasgow from Piedmont.
The indulgent pairing menu includes Menabrea beer-infused Sbirro cheese and Acquerello risotto rice – a staple in Michelin star kitchens – all paired with Menabrea.

Angus Lawrie of Menabrea, said: “We travelled with Italian chefs from all over the UK, collecting insights, ingredients and inspiration from the Piedmont region’s most celebrated chefs and producers and we’re bringing them here to be perfectly paired with Menabrea.
“We invite people to book a table and dine the Menabrea way – if you’re a lover of Italian cuisine, this is a dining experience you simply can’t miss.”
The exclusive menu is available from today for one week.
