  1. Bucca di Beppo now having problems now is amazing, due to poor quality food and horrific service we quit dining there years ago.

  2. some of these have been faltering for years/decades I.E. Red Lobster though we have some great seafood places in Boston so we aren't missing much we have Legal Seafood for ex

  3. Only restaurants on this list I even know are TGI, Dennys, Applebees, Red Lobster, MOD Pizza, and Boston Market. Good riddance.

  4. Honestly none of these places doesn’t surprise me including the ones I never heard of, but Red Lobster and Tijuana Flats are my favorites on this list sadly, but they are both very expensive however, so hopefully Panama City, Florida where I live can keep them both open! 👍🏻

  5. Maybe its because im in my mid 40s. I prefer staying at home and cooking . I also prefer online shopping. Im tired of people, places, and traffic . Anyone else feel this way? Plus I can make it better at home and pay a lot less most of the times.

  6. You have to keep us with the times, always remembering things always don’t stay the same.ask the people what they want, always try to think ahead.

  7. Every year you pick on Denny's, Applebee's, TGI Friday's, Boston Market, and Red Lobster… and then a year later they still haven't gone under and you'll pick on them again. You forgot your usual whipping boys Sbarro and Perkins… oh shocker they're still around too!

  8. My Local Boston Market In Hicksville Westbury And Levittown Are Sadly Closing Down Its A Shame Their Chicken Tastes Better Than The Grocery Store Version

  9. Fridays–and other generic casual restaurants–are doomed. There will be one that survives–Applebee's or Chili's. (I've excluded Olive Garden since I think they're in a different niche.)

I LOVE Denny's! Skillets and Moons Over My Hammy rule!

I truly miss Boston Market. There is no legitimate reason why it has disappeared. I hope someone replaces it.

  10. In all honesty too many of the restaurants that are closing down or are in bad shape…they kind of deserve it.

You can't spend the last generation selling Sysco food like substances that are cooked in the microwave and slathered with 'Natural Flavor' sauces at restaurant level prices and expect that people are going to be okay with this.

Granted that the average American Consumer is the most propagandized population in the world who are not as smart as they think they are; still at the end of the day even the chumps eventually smarten up.

  11. Applebees and Red Lobster were a disaster from day one!
BurgerFI should have hired senior citizens, much less turnover and more dedicated staff.

  12. Denney’s has always been just ok at best. Red Lobster has always been over rated, over priced garbage. Never heard of Burgerfi, nor Bu Cade whatever., nor ModPizza. Nor Rubios. Nor Sticky’s. 33 World of Beer locations is 34 too many. None of these were ever “beloved.” Hell, none of them were ever very good.

  13. No problem with me if Buca di Beppo goes away. Ate there only twice; both times underwhelming. I do wish Boston Market was still around here.. It was never fine dining but it was at least something different than a millenial hipster joint.

  14. 0:25 I have to agree with that lady, it is important to get out and live your life. In the big scheme of things, it's VERY short.

  15. 9:50 I'm truly sad about what happened to Boston Market.
My dad and I used to eat there regularly … a "home cooked meal" in just a few minutes.

  16. Denny's in Wichita Falls, Tx. closed and a Hawaiian Brothers came in its place.. I think it is just as under performing as Denny's was.
