Welcome back to the Wild World of Travel! We have been looking at how to retire in Puglia, Italy for cheap. We have several videos that we have recently made that go over why those thinking about retiring in Italy might want to look at Puglia. One of the main reasons for this is that Puglia is one of the 7% income tax regions for expat retirees in Italy. Puglia also offers high quality healthcare, great weather, and fabulous restaurants (for cheap!)
In this retire in Italy for cheap video we will discover Gallipoli. Gallipoli is located in the southern region of Puglia, on the western coast of the Salento Peninsula. It sits along the Ionian Sea, about 40 kilometers southwest of the city of Lecce. Gallipoli boasts stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters. Located on a small island connected to the mainland by a 17th-century bridge, Gallipoli’s historic center is a labyrinth of narrow streets and quaint piazzas. Gallipoli’s location in Salento makes it a gateway to incredible nearby attractions. Lecce, the “Florence of the South,” is renowned for its baroque architecture. Otranto, also nearby, is a picturesque coastal town with a medieval vibe. Taranto, a little further to the north, could make for a nice day trip.

Real good information. New subscriber!
When talking about rental properties, I think you should start mentioning the fact that during the summer you have to leave or pay seasonal rent. Its no really a retirement option.
