  1. Hi all, I’m Italian and I think that eating and exercising to your heart’s content and listening to your body’s needs is the key to stay healthy and happy. Moreover, being skinny isn’t equal to being healthy. Given this, I try to eat balanced meals, move my body and never say no to my food desires for reasons concerned with diet culture.
Let’s promote a healthy relationship with food!

  2. Don’t get the idea that Italians are skinny – there are millions of obese and many many more overweight persons.

  3. I lived in Italy for 8 years and used to eat at the student's refectory during my university studies. Everybody had pasta or rice for primo, followed by meat and vegetables to end with fruit or a yoghurt. That's what we had every day for lunch. Every day. And hardly anybody was overweight.
We walked a lot though and the portions weren't huge.

  4. I'm Italian from Rome and I don't understand why are you giving advices on Italian diet or what to do, not to do etc..being a foreign here. Let me tell you you're basically running a channel on Italy but you're wrong 80% of the times I watch your shorts, it's full of stereotypes and mislead info, maybe you should talk about your country, maybe it'd be better no?

  5. Pizza it's rare and you usually eat it on weekends and other celebrations. But pasta it's really eaten every day, usually once a day but sometimes also twice πŸ˜…

  6. My Italian born and raised father would have pasta EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT. for dinner…so much so I hated pasta growing up, things changed as i grew up and now love pasta πŸ˜‚

  7. Interesting. I live in Germany and the Germans say β€œyou eat sweet food for breakfast?” Like uh noπŸ˜‚

  8. Baaaaaaahhh…. Pasta, gnocchi or rice (better if risotto) every lunch, with vegetables. And meet or fish or eggs, or also beans or similar for dinner, also with vegetables. Pizza once a week, pastry for breakfast only in special occasion. Personally, i don't use tondo breakfast, only espresso, and i don't eat snack during the day, but this is not so common

  9. Per rimanere magri in Italia, facciamo molto l'amore, e questo ci porta a mangiare sostanze ogni giorno e cedere ai piaceri della carne e dei dolci. Soddisfare le donne che amiamo e' un duro lavoro.
