Let’s start the holiday season by celebrating the wonderful Italian region of Friuli with our friend and Friulian wine expert Max Lewis, who was born there and knows all these exceptional family-owned producers first-hand. Petra Belliti (Italian Wine Ambassador) co-leads the afternoon with Max.
We have a special guest born and raised in Friuli joining too. Exec Chef Denice Grande is designing a menu that incudes dishes from this region.

AND, A MASTERCLASS: SPIRITS OF MEXICO AND ARTISANAL ITALIAN CHEESE – WEDNESDAY DEC 4
This is a rare opportunity to really learn about a delightful cross-section of the spirits of México as they are paired with artisanal Italian cheeses.
For the spirits, we have Arik Torren coming to San Diego to lead the Masterclass. Arik is a 35+ year veteran of Méxican spirits and a true industry expert. We will be tasting: bacanora, tequila, whiskey de Oaxaca, sotol, and ron agricola from Jalisco.
For the Italian cheese, we have cheesemonger, Rob Graff, from San Diego’s very own Venissimo Cheese. You will be amazed how well these Italian cheeses pair well with the spirits.
