This sea day on Sun Princess started early so that we could make it to breakfast in The Sanctuary Dining Room (MDR for Sanctuary guests) before taking in an absolutely perfect sea day from The Sanctuary Club sundeck, having a magic wall serve us champagne, and trying out Sabatini’s, Princess’ signature specialty Italian restaurant.

I am, overall, a breakfast eater, but I’ve rarely found breakfast worth the effort to get to on time when I’ve been on a cruise, for some reason (I still give it a shot each cruise because, hey, I DO NOT turn down included food I’ve paid for!)…might’ve had something to do with the fact that I’m usually on Royal Caribbean and, outside of better than average breakfasts on Ovation, RCL really drops the ball at breakfast, quality-wise

I made the same mistake at Sabatinis. I had to force my dinner down since I was so full by then and dessert just wasn’t happening 😅
