Even for such a small wine appellation like Brunello di Montalcino, it still offers great diversity in wine styles and, of course, price ranges. And despite its small production, this Italian red wine from Tuscany can still be relatively affordable. In this video I will cover my top 5 affordable and great Brunello di Montalcino wines.

Way better to buy a case of more affordable brunellos than just a couple of the more expensive ones. The likelihood for at least one bottle to survive until the proper drinking window opens is then much higher 😉
And with that I'm thinking maybe 10years (+) after the harvest.
Especially these days since you might still find some 2016's laying around which would be a good bet to store away in your cellar 🍷
il poggione vintages 2015 and 2016 are stunning. Tasted a 2015 at christmas, so charming, fresh and polished tannins.
Niceeee very good list. I did a Brunello vs Vino Nobile blind tasting video and the Altesino ended up winning, even beating out the more famous Casanova di Neri
Great video…..nice wines!
Great video phenomenal lineup one of my favorite Brunello’s Le Ragnaie great producer
Agree with most on the list (never tried Lisini)
my other all time Fav VFM – Brunello is Argiano, 2010,15 etc all magic
A quality wine experience at an affordable price! This is information we certainly need in these times! Love your channel, good, solid information presented with a joie de vivre that is nice to see, and very fitting for a wine lover!
Altesino Brunello di Montalcino from the 2015 vintage is the best Brunello I have enjoyed in the last 2 years. 😃
Very helpful, good concise presentation. Thanks
Thank you for the suggestions. Great overview and education!
Try out "Az.Agr.Palazzo" and "Fornacina" (39€ to 54€) They're both great. You can also get some rare vintages at the cellar.
Another great one is "Le Potazzine"
All these 2015 and 2016's are great
..enjoy
Scopone 2015 is a great bang for your buck brunello
Thank you for this videos, I had the opportunity to drink a Brunello last week at a tasting, and it was by far the favorite. Bravo.
wondering what the best vintages are between 2014 2020…….my wine stores near me are only carrying 2017 under 85 dollars
Say it with me Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
thank you so much! With so many recommendations, it's hard for me to remember the names, so I had to make a folder in my photo library with screenshots with the name of “No Sediment” 😊
Amazing videos really enjoy them!
Was that la magia the normale or riserva version?
And do you find riservas worth the price premium?
seems southern montalcino is your favouite. for me, northern montalcino, il paradiso, le chiuse, baricci, etc
anyway, grazie~
love the way you talk you give me a woody
I was told by the winery people that 2015 was the last vintage of Altesino's Montosoli, because they were ripping out and replanting that plot of land on the hilltop. But there seem to be plenty of newer vintages on the market now. Wonder what happened to…
to bad brunello di montalcino Castello Banfi arround 40 bucks did not made the list
grammatacco the best of the best
Ciacci Piccolomini🍷- fantastic!
Your videos are brilliant🍷and you are very pleasant 🌹
