  1. You can't get takeout Carrabba's, bring it home and expect to taste like it would in restaurant.

  2. I always went to Carrabbas for my birthday dinner up until 2019 and ordered the same items, calamari for an appetizer and Momma Rosa's chicken main. Went back for the 1st time in January 2024 and won't go back again. Portions smaller, prices up 33% and not the same flavors/quality. The reason for the 5 yrs was my wife passed in 2019. So many great restaurants in Orlando have closed since 2010 and the only good ones are on International Drive where 1000's of tourists from around the world go to every day and traffic sucks.

  3. It would be a good idea to do a video to show him how much an "authentic italian" dish would cost to make in an American restaurant. There is a reason why the Michelin starred Italian restaurants charge over 100$ and it isn't because of a high profit. The food at places like Carrabbas it is about cost and not with the goal of "I want to bastardize Italian food".

  4. If you go to the original Carrabba‘s in Houston, it tastes very different than any Carrabba‘s that you will eat

  5. Don't even bother, it's not real. Italian, it's just a name, it's a chain of food chain, don't waste your time.

  6. Mandola’s restaurant (also a chain owned by the Carrabba’s family) is excellent, in my opinion better than any of the other Italian chains

  7. Going from Italy to Tennessee has to be absolute shock. I would rather Alessio review the restaurants in Little Italy in Manhattan. Maybe during Saint Genaro's Fest

  8. Just FYI. I moved to Italy lived there many years in Puglia. My mom in law NEVER made Lasagna with bechamel.. when I did have lasagna in with bechamel.. it was disgusting I do not and I repeat I do not like bechamel in lasagna and that includes (Greek) moussaka which has bechamel also.
I did however have an amazing lasagna and Sicily. It was an unusual style, it was a pasta stuffed lasagna the pasta stuffing had eggplant and zucchini it had absolutely no tomato sauce it did however have a meat gravy that was clear and it was absolutely amazing.

  9. There is one near me and its horrible, I never see anyone there, place is always dead and its been there for years. I think its a front for money laundering but what do I know?
