love how the first thing you mention is the sun, there are soo many sunburnt tourists every year
Seeing you visiting my home is so surreal oh my gosh 😍
I love your video's and after always watching your Vietnamese and German it is so crazy cool to see you experience Australia, and Brisbane at that! So cool to see the city I live in through your eyes <3
All of our windows and doors have flyscreens, keep the insects out.
No crocodiles in southern Australia.
Koalas DID live freely, but too much of their habitat is destroyed (gum trees), so that’s why seeing them in the wild, is less likely, in surburbia.
But I have just moved from a part of surburbia adelaide, where there are koalas in the sports fields, the school ovals (because there are gum trees there).
The paper flower is called Bouganvillea
The purple tree is called Jacaranda
Come to Sydney, the seaguls have zero care for your space and food.
If you want cheaper housing go to SA or WA. Very nice, quiet, good to live
Also, don't go to Sydney if you don't like spiders
One more thing, those purple trees at 8:51 are called jacaranda in Australia.
I keep adding to this. White ibis is affectionately known as bin chicken, because they look like chickens and they root around in the bins for food
I hope she didn't hear, OI! BAAA!!! YOU STARTING SOMTH'N MAD LAD!!! my god the eshays are bad here lol 😂
Weird to see my city through someone else's eyes. Cool take.
Kommt naechstes Mal nach Neuseeland und ich zeig Euch Auckland! Unter Wasser und die Waelder – so schoen hier!
The cockroaches you get in Brisbane are the small ones too, there is a species in the wild of Queensland that is much, bigger.
Looks like your had a great experiences in Southbank and the Inner City. Be aware that Brisbane tends to have a few more "green spaces than say Melbourne or Sydney for example. If your chasing Vietnamese food places like Inala are fantastic. Large Vietnamese population. For Chinese for, Sunnybank area.
That Ibis we call a "bin Chicken". Annoying scavengers.
For study costs, it's very different for citizens v foreign students. I think the theory is foreign students will return home and not contributed to Australia, so they pay full price. If you are a citizen odds are you'll stay in country and what is taught will be used here.
Those university prices seem ludicrously high, as an Australian. For me, my double degree was around $55,000 AUD in total (a little higher than usual because I repeated a few subjects). I think the prices you've seen are for non citizens?
I am an aussie that is proud that we have free bbq everywhere and i use it as part of my descritptions about aus lifestyle when freinds are interested to come here !! ITs really handy and a nice part . It looks like the bbq in Sydney is a bit bigger and fancier but we have many of them in Western Australia too . will you come here ? we have the best beaches in Australia. !!! please come see
The university prices you gave are somewhat incorrect. Those are probably the international student prices. Australian students pay considerably less, assuming they have a Commonwealth-supported place in their course. The Commonwealth government supports a certain number of places in courses at universities in order to educate and train the number of people different industries require. If a student doesn't secure one of those places they can elect to pay more to get into the course if the university can take them but that isn't typical. For Australian students the per year fee depends upon what is being studied. To give you an idea, Law is $16,323, Medicine is $12,720, Engineering is $8,948, Education, Psychology, Nursing, and Agriculture are $4,445. Students can pay upfront, in which case they get a 25% discount, or obtain a loan from the government. The loans are interest free but are indexed to inflation. Repayments are made through the taxation system once the student earns over a certain amount. Repayments kick in at an annual income of $54,435 which would require a payment of 1% of their income. The percentage increases as the annual income increases. It goes up to a maximum of 10% once the person earns over $159,664 per year. It's typically deducted from pay by the employer along with tax so you don't end up with a bill at the end of the financial year.
Schalte bitte diese grausame KI Stimme ab..

Thats not a barbecue…its a pan!
Great review of Brisbane you guys are a great couple 👏🏽
Oh no, sea gulls in the coastal areas of south Texas are super aggressive. They will still your food from your hands.
mmm the ibis also known as a bin chicken
Thanks for travelling to our country. I'm glad you enjoyed your time over here.
It is really humbling (and funny!) to hear Brisbane described in such great terms!
But also, you are absolutely correct! The fact that South Bank has streets beach, and most parks have free BBQs, and there is just so much open and accessible and free stuff!
Glad you enjoyed your time down under!
hellloooo im a student in australia if you're an australian national you can put your uni education onto HECS which is like student debt but you only have to pay it off when you're making a certain amount of money and it comes out like tax and if you die before its paid off it doesnt get passed to relatives!
Bin chicken
Melbourne had a lot of gorgeous olde buildings, but almost all were knocked down in the 60s as they were seen as old fashion. Worth watching the documentary, ‘Melbourne’. It’s very sad.
The kangaroos in my yard (in the wild/bush) are huge and not at all Chill. They are only chill in sanctuaries. And yes, the birds are often very big, colourful and loud. As for kids being good, it depends on the kids. I’m a teacher and have to deal with very very poorly behaved kids. Likewise, not all schools wear uniform.
Rate payers pay for these conveniences. They’re not free
Sydney and Perth are also good. Lot of Vietnamese in Cabramatta, Sydney 😮
Ah the delicious irony of the "German Boyfriend" hating cockroaches so much, when it is the German cockroach that is the most common in Australia!
"Seagulls keep distance with you" meanwhile one of them swallowed my whole fish while I was eating outside in Istanbul 😀
The one thing about education is the gov pays upfront for the fees and then we end up paying the gov back when we have a salary above a certain amount
Du heiliger Himmel – was ist das für eine KI-Stimme die mit einem Wiener Akzent und Uyens Stimme spricht?
Most (Western) European countries like Germany and Austria are also wealthy (like you said about UK, AUS, US)! We CHOOSE not to make school and university expensive so that everyone can afford it. 🙂
