“This edition of the Italian Week of Cuisine explores the deep links between food, history, and society,” Armando Barucco, Italy’s Ambassador to Morocco, says to Morocco World News on the sidelines on an Italian cooking event held at the Rabat Four Seasons hotel.

Barucco discusses how Italian cuisine has transformed worldwide through migration, with dishes adapting from the United States to China.

“Cooking is a shared social experience, connecting families and communities, and this is something we deeply value in common with Morocco,” he explained.

The event was organized in partnership with the Italian Embassy, the Italian Cultural Institute, and the hotel, known for its renowned Italian culinary tradition.
