Wagyu in Italy? The Last thing I would eat on a Tour through Italy would be Japanese Beef.

When you go to Italy to a restaurant that have wagyu…you know you are in a tourist trap…come on
you need to ask to local where to eat well, turistic place are most of the time shitty

This is what happens in all places with a lot of tourism. The food is very average and expensive so you have to look somewhere far from these places for a good restaurant. Also the reviews on Google always help to find the right place.
Maybe it would be offensive to ask for permasan cheese. But not nearly as offensive as curling up your spaghetti on your friggin knife 😀

I went to Italy about 20 years ago, was in Rome, Florence, Pisa and Venice, and at no time was I blown away by the food. I live in Vancouver and we have amazing world cuisine here, and I think I'm spoiled. The food was ok in Italy, but none of it was memorable at all. The coffee was though. I'll give this to them – they know how to do coffee. I was very impressed with literally every coffee shop & restaurant there, for their coffee. But food? It was a disappointment, unfortunately.
I wish I had learned more about these 'tourist traps' — i fell for all of them. Rome, Florence, Venice! Most places were terrible, except for a small place in Florence – best tomahawk steak I've ever had on the road. It's true, high price doesn't equal fresh or delicious! and by the way …. the African people selling junk in Rome ruined that "Italy feel"
As an Italian I can tell you all: we don't murder every meal in seasoning . The counter that they use dor meat is refrigerated, and at the end of the day it goes in the refrigerator closet.
Go to every tourist trap and complain that you get ripped of. Stay in the US, because any place in the EU might be a rip off for people like you

There's always that one rule: If the locals are not eating there then don't go there.
