Pho is to a Vietnamese like tea to a Brit. Though it usually comes with beef.
I'm a bit surprised they put 7/11 cheese sauce on their nachos, but I guess a lot of people do like it.

The VIVA was amazing when we were on it March 29th 2024, All food was top notch with exception of deserts, They cheeped out and most seemed like frozen or Powered MIX Base. Presentation was amazing but desert was poor, poor, poor for all restaurants.

Recently spent 10 days on Viva in the Haven section. Service in private dining room was fantastic but food was very mediocre thought the ship. Greasy sandwiches and burgers. The small menu was identical for all 10 days. All meals seems to be a 3/5. Went to main dining room 2x just get some variety. 4 specialty dining choices were 3/5 at best. I used to rate Norwegian cruise meals as among the best on the seas. Not Viva.
You don’t speak loud enough. Buy a microphone that attaches to your head & the mic is right in front of your mouth.
You can get one that does not stand out.
I am very much in line with all the restaurant reviews. Sad to say, I had the same experience in Cagney’s. Everything around the meat was perfection but the meat was just a bit tough and I am a rare meat eater so it wasn’t the cooking. Totally agree on the Mexican. Overwhelmed on the size of the portions, underwhelmed on the flavour. Loved the Italian, had the veal Milanese, delicious but the portion was too large. Indulge was a great alternative to the buffet and never had a bad plate throughout the cruise. I did eat once in Hudson’s for the ambience. The food as usual left a lot to be desired. More fit for large banquets as opposed to individual dining. I am booked on the transatlantic in November and look forward to visiting my favourites on the Viva.
