Watch this video to see Business Class Comparison on America’s Best Transatlantic Airlines. We’ll show you luxurious lounges, lie flat seats, tasty (and not so tasty) meals, and so much more!
This may be our most ambitious airline comparison yet! We flew across the Atlantic three times on the #Transatlanticthrowdown to compare these top US Transatlantic Business Class Airlines head-to-head in the ultimate business class battle. Who wins? Spoiler alert: We were shocked!
Business Class is a dream! But is it really worth it? And, which is the best airline to choose? Well, we used a data-driven approach to compare American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines across the Atlantic Ocean.
We Flew every US Business Class to Europe to help you determine which US Transatlantic Airline is the best airline across the Atlantic!
In this video, you’ll essentially get to see three US Business Class Airlines in one video: An American Airlines Review, a Delta Airlines Review, and a United Airlines Review. We’ll show you what it’s like to fly on American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines in Business Class between the East Coast and London. We tried all three to see what it’s like.
Along the way, we’ll check out the airlines’ seats, business class catering, inflight entertainment (even counting the movies AND new releases!), and even compare the service experience for each one.
At the end of the video, we’ll use a data-driven decision making process to figure out which is the best business class airline by rating American Airlines vs Delta Air Lines vs United Airlines in the transatlantic throwdown!

10:57 lol the Concorde is back
Unfortunately you missed a key aspect of transatlantic to London – the Arrivals lounges that all three carriers offer and is available to J class customers. That's a key piece of the experience eastbound, and very much part of the overall package. Kinda a miss.
What about Jet Blue?
Hi Jeb & Suzanne… were all shocked around the world to see the devastation in North Carolina.. hoping you & your family are safe
Lax D1 lounge coming soon as well (door is visible by T3)
Watching from a D1 seat lax-jfk (763, worst d1 seat but a beds a bed)
I'm a complete Business Class newb having only experienced it for the first time this past March with ITA from JFK to Rome (and back). The flight crews on both trips were incrediblly attentitve and friendly.
It might be cool to see this same type of comparison between Euro airlines. Or, it might be cool to see a global shootout (USA vs. Europe vs. Middle East vs. Asia).
50 box for a small champagne bottle????? In business????
My god….
With Air France, in Business, you get it for free…
I flew to Europe for the first time last year to Munich and I flew United Polaris and it was a great experience.
No disrespect but all European airlines are better. If I ever make a booking error and end up on American rather than BA my heart sinks
Would have loved an update on the AA Arrivals at London (as a part of the lounge comparison)! I haven’t been in ages
Ahh. So they all suck equally lol. 😂
i would always choose a non US airline wherever possible.
but if i had to, judging overall from your video, i'd pick United considering i try to book Star alliance airlines first, followed by skyteam. AA i would probably avoid the most from the 3.
nice video though and thanks for sharing.
It still baffles me 300% how people ut importance in crap that doesn't matter. The truth of any long flight to anywhere are only 2 things: how long does it take to get there and how comfortable is the seat I am in. The rest is pure garbage. More luggage allowance, getting in the plane early, etc is pure garbage. At the end of the flight the only things you'll care about s how long it took to get there and how beat up you feel in the end. Most transatlantic flights are overnight flights. That means the seat itself is the one thing that matters the most. Give me the option to upgrade just the seating and forget bout the rest of the garbage!!!! I'd like to think 99.99% of us take a trip based on what we do between the airplane rids, not because of it
Tbh, all of these US airlines look so sad.
What about short flights I live in Syracuse NY and I fly no less then two-3 hours away how can I feel comfortable in business class also. ❤
Funny . Deciding between 3 average airlines….Most European carriers and Air Canada are a better choice hands down for transatlantic flights.
Emirates 😆 🤣 ftw..
Why did you choose ATL-LHR and not JFK-LHR with Delta’s A350/A330neo? Seems like more of a fair comparison though I’m biased against Delta’s B767 lol
The airline provided headphone question. I actually like the option to use my own "air fly" dongle that connects with my blue tooth, noise cancelling earbuds. I can adapt the dongle to most domestic IFE systems with a single plug. Sometimes I can use a 2 plug adaptor to work when in business class. Most international business class headphones utilize a connector that isn't easily compatible with any adaptor I have. I am guessing that the international airlines use there own plugs so that the passengers won't try to keep the head phones, they wont work on most one or 2 prong devices. Using the Air fly is an excellent way to get the best audio quality, even when used in standard coach IFE systems.
Heathrow is indeed a hub for United:)
United Airlines has a lot of work to do, re improving their kitchen slops catering service
I was really hoping to see the AA/BA arrivals lounge at LHR. When you go back on either airline, can we get a peek at it?
I completely agree with United Polaris clubs, especially San Francisco. Things like being able to take a shower make a huge difference. I also like the seats, but I am a back sleeper and wish it was a little wider. But it was fine on our recent trip SFO to Frankfurt. In Frankfurt they work with Lufthansa which has a dozen or so lounges to it is easy to find a place to sleep, eat, and bathe.
The worse lounges have to be the 3rd party lounges like the one United subcontracts with in Amsterdam. Crowded, terrible food, with salad, bread, and rice as the main choices.
😂😂 when your body gives a 5-star review in reverse. 😂😂
How tall are you? Would give me a little more context on seating room
never flown delta or american but my experience from Turkey to D.C. with united was top notch. so comfortable and the service was awesome, food was medicor but not the main thing for me.
I've finally found you after 3 months 🙏🏻 YAY
Great video. I just flew on United Polaris from SFO to Amsterdam and the seats were pretty spacious and comfy and the food was just meh. Service was good. Seat comfort is the most important criteria for me over lounge, food and service especially for those long flights.
You skipped JetBlue's mint business class, which has won quite a few great reviews, cmon.
I flew on American Airlines's Economy class onboard it's B737 MAX 8 from MIA to IAH
Loved Suzzanne's backpack.. What backpack is she having?
I’m gonna fly first time on united business but it’s not Polaris!!! It’s from Newark to Houstan!! Can you please let me know things I should keep in mind?
You make 35$ for the WiFi sounds like a steal 😂😂😂 great video!
you forgot phx
Another fantastic review !! this channel gets better and better !!
US carriers suck.
Thank you for this! Your AA was regularBusiness Class, NOT Flagship, which is different and a LOT better. Delta One(ATL-CPE), not impressive at all because of the seats being uncomfortable. Have never flown United, but I will. Great job.
For me the largest seat will always win my business, I can deal with anything else.
Here's what's missing- in between food! Do you go to the galley? Do they bring it to you? AA and BA are galley, Delta is usually order only… we need more!
Also, Polaris Newark is YOWZERS. Excellent.
And yes, AA on board food is excellent.
terrible review…not sure where to start but US carriers are horrible from a food, service and club perspective. You basically gave them a pass on everything. For the money they charge for these flights, everything should be stellar.
“Flight attendants are here for our safety.”
I’d encourage you to look up what “span of control” means and you’ll realize there are never enough FAs on a flight for your safety.
Also, you delivered another video of nothing but 1st world problems.
