About Punk Chef:
Scott Garthwaite is a Deaf Professional Chef & Television Presenter. He is best known for his television work with the BBC and also with Sign Language broadcasting organisation BSLBT.
Scott presented his first cooking series for the Deaf community ‘Punk Chef’ in 2012 until 2014, followed by ‘Punk Chef on the Road’ with Hungry Gap Productions in 2019. His unique trademark is his flamboyant pink mohawk, which has won him many fans and followers across the globe.
After graduating with a degree in Culinary Arts, he went to work in multi award-winning restaurants and hotels throughout the North East of England. His creative & innovative approach to cooking has made him a chef at the top of his game. Scott has travelled around the world on a culinary journey. An experience which made him the chef he is today.
