  1. Looks like the blue ceramic plate has found a home in your new kitchen. Love it on the range hood!!! 👍👍👍
Great job on the prints for the chair cushions. I can hardly wait to see the finished products. What a neat project that was. ❤❤❤

  2. love the plate hanging there. not so sure about your mirror idea. those mirrors seem a little modern bathroom for the space

  3. Love the idea of the mirrors Julie, but from someone who lives in New Zealand, a well known earthquake zone, I believe they also have frequent earthquakes in Italy, you need to probably make sure they are properly secured somehow. Otherwise, such a gorgeous wee place.

  4. Hi julie the bowl looks great but maybe heavy to display if the hood is metal but another option could be a chalk board for writing lists reminders etc or a magnet display for notes.

  5. Your site, your house, your kitchen YOUR WAY are DELIGHTFUL! TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS! YOUR VIDEOS FEED MY HUNGER TO SEE ITALY. I MADE IT TO LUGANO WHILE PERFORMING IN A SHOW AND IT WAS JUST ON THE EDGE OF SWITZERLAND IN ITALY BUT I JUST REALLY WANT TO GO AND EXPLORE THAT WHOLE TUSCAN VIBE.
I LOVE THE BACKGROUND MUSIC…SO INSPIRING!
OK, OK, YOU CAN TURN IT DOWN JUST A COUPLE OF NOTCHES TO INDULGE ALL OF THE HIGHLY SENSITIVE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN PUTTING CRITICISM ABOUT THE SOUND OF THE MUSIC LOL.
I'd LOVE YOU TO TRY SOME OF THAT PARTICULAR ORANGE THAT YOU WERE THINKING OF DOING THE DOTS AND PLACING IT STRATEGICALLY AROUND THE KITCHEN.
I THINK YOU WILL GET THAT POP OF COLOR.
I WANT TO SEE IT AROUND THAT BEAUTIFUL BLUE AND WHITE PLATE THAT YOU PUT ON THE EXTRACTOR HOOD. I ALSO WAS THINKING ABOUT MAYBE A COPPER HOOD! I'm just feeling that that kind of Hugh would really be that perfect pop for the kitchen. We know that whatever you do it'll be wonderful because you've done wonderful work so far. Ciao Bella!

  6. Looking fabulous Julie. Look forward to seeing cushions and table runner in place. Luke’s platter looks perfect on extractor hood! 🥰

  7. This is very enjoyable. My two cents, I don’t love that metal thing on the wall near the painting. It’s somewhat distracting. Absolutely yes to the bowl hanging on the hood. No to the mirrors on the floor. Mirrors should be able to be seen. One option is to move the painting near the bistro table, and hang a very large mirror above the couch to make the room more lively.

  8. That ceramic bowl is beautiful but I am kind of concerned that it may break if someone accidentally hits it because its in the area of where people are cooking and they bang there head on it. I think its too pretty to put there in a place where it may break. What if instead you painted a stencil on there of the same color blue as your seat covers and tiles? Just an idea.

  9. Love the orange/yellow Protea you put in the vase. (Won’t lie, they are a favorite. 😊) Your little house is such fun, and a feeling of joy even through the camera. Between Mapperton and your little Italian home; taking what you have, making it more, has inspired me to look at my own home/belongings in a new way.
Those fabulous historic streets, with the stone walled homes and greenery are romantic and magical. Such a different feel from the States, especially the US West Coast.
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.

  10. I dont understand why people need an extractor fan in the kitchen, there always ugly.Just open the window after cooking…
The blue plate looks awsome..Thank you, for your videos!🙂😎

  11. I do love all that you have done! In my opinion (no disrespectful intended) there seems to be enough decor. You do mention to "suggest below".

  12. Julie, I love your kitchen. However, I do think your beautiful art over the sofa needs to be lowered four to six inches. It just looks too high. This suggestion is not a criticism.

  13. Hi Julie I just love your brief jaunts to Fivizzano and your generosity in sharing your life and adventures with us. Screen printing is just perfect. Don't feel you need to fill every empty space or wall. The house is absolutely gorgeous as is. I wish I could move there too. Hugs Helen, East Gippsland, Australia

  14. Safety tip: don’t put or leave things on the stovetop. You might forget one time that it is on. A friend had a house fire that started like this 😢.

  15. Isn't it amazing, how people's energy can really permeate your own being? (Italian artist, RSN needlepoint lady). So genuinly eager to share, teach, etc. You (husband, too) do that as well for all of us who enjoy what you produce. 😊

  16. Julie please remember where you need to look when you're talking to the camera when filming so you're actually looking at us!

  17. Perhaps paint the white surface of the hood a paler shade of the cabinet green and then hang the beautiful platter your husband found on it?

  18. How about using your curtain fabric for the backs of the cushions. Could also use as backing for table runner.

  19. Put a towel or drying mat in bottom of dish drying rack. Will absorb puddles of water and keep metal in good condition longer.

  20. Once you get the lamps in place, it won’t be so empty looking. Then you can see about the mirrors. Mirrors will make the room larger.

  21. I would paint the cover of the extracta fan "Buff Titanium", then put the plate on it. Cheers, Muffy form Australia

  22. Your new fabric also look terrific on the couch! If there is one or two spare pieces with your pattern you could think maybe a throw pilllow or two. Love the color combination. And/or your new pillow design hand painted on the extractor fan case? And do be careful with wall mirrors if they are going to reflect your lamp wiring. You're doing great!

  23. The cushion covers look FANTASTIC and how absolutely fulfilling that you created them yourself as you did…the artisan life is precisely what Italy is about. You are living my Italian dream…I relish and look forward to each new video you put out. 💙
