Thank you for being here! Here’s my other grocery budget video eating off of $1 a day: https://youtu.be/FGXZHn7l_M8
Girl I just cut up some potatoes and made a poor man’s meal with them chopped up, added some basil and onions, hot dogs and they ended up being the best homemade home fries EVER. I only used about 5 potatoes which was like 1/5 of the bag which I think was like less than 5 dollars for the entire bag. Something to look into for sure!!!!
as an european my mouth dropped 5 times because everything looks disgusting
Nice to see that you grabbed some fresh produce! There's way too much processed food in the US, it's incredible.
You did a awesome job.
Dear lady your recipes are so good but please when it comes to food think more than the price. Buy more onions and garlics and add more fresh herbs fruits and veggies to your diet. It will be more beneficial to your health. Most of fresh Vegies and herbs and onions and garlic contain antioxidants and if you eat more of them it will help reduce cancer risk
Great video! You made this a year ago and prices have gone a little crazy lately so I expected to pay more, however, I was pleasantly surprised when I added everything you recommended to my cart and it was just at $25!
Groceries in Canada are way more expensive than the US.
I subscribed, you’re doing wonderful work doing this. What a good woman.
Bæhg
It’s crazy watching this in 2024, even a year later almost all of the prices on these items is higher now by at least a dollar..
When I see you use the paper towel to soak the fat from the meat, I thought I had been the one doing it in my household (they don’t do it, they just scoop the fat out with spoon, put in a container to cool before dumping away) I never do it in front of my family. 😭
This stuff like 60 dollars now
I'm confused where are the 70 meals? I love the ideas btw!
Why not put the bag of potatoes back get regular potatoes
That was not 70 meals but good vid
Very positive vibe, nice to watch!
Im your pretty typical single guy who can't cook, so im not exaggerating when i say this video is helping so much. This all seems so easy to cook, which is a nice change of pace from the intimidating stuff I always run into
Plz where did you get your messy masher in having the darnest time finding they thing in a1 ✋️ home chef and i live gadget that help get things done good and fat i need they masher plz great video btw keep up the good work ty fir Akshay in cooking them all💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🖤👍💙😋
Watching this and realizing my parents literally bought most of this when I was a kid😭
only carbs.
Your voice legit made me end this video. Stop trying to sound like an influencer…. You’re cadence and voice is irritating
Almost 2 mil views 😢 hang in there people ❤
Thank you
Just want you to know that you're helping me feed my family! I was so lost when our budget changed drastically. Please know that you're making a huge difference, and we appreciate all the time and energy you put into sharing these affordable recipes!
Those are flour tortillas
That’s about $100
You must be in the states just milk, eggs, hotdogs & potatoes are about 25.00 in canada 🙁
But such a great video for people who live there.
How is 1/2 lb of pasta 7 servings? Truly curious. Life with teen boys!!!
60% of viewers are Californians 😂
God bless you for sharing this.
70 meals?
This is outright lies, her cart added up to 29$ if i did my math right, the child hardly counts as a meal and even then the other two of you are eating 1000 calories a day so basically starving to death. If you're poor, buy grain from the feed store, oil or lard and hunt if you can. Then get a garden, buying spinach and tomatoes is a flex, totally unrealistic. Any budget shopper who doesn't even buy the 20lb bag of flour is an f joke
Excellent, can you do it without any milk based ingredients?
My groceries used to be 180-200 dollars per month now it’s $80 thanks a lot
This video was so helpful! I recently have been learning to cook and this video is by far one of the best I've watched. Thank you!
Anyone else catching the fundie baby voice she's doing?
You're amazing, always on point. You're sharing the money tips, DNA tips. Trust, truth ❤️❤️💯💯💯💯💯💯
That mountain view 🖤
Curious do you like the Caraway pans? Has the coating come off over time?
These same meals in 2024 cost $1000 now thanks Kamala Harris. 🎉
Budget tip for single people, anything you can buy frozen instead of canned, do it! You can thaw only as much as you need right then, and keep the rest just as good as when you opened the bag. With canned goods, even if you put a lid on the can in the fridge, its shelf life is limited once it's opened. If you do have to buy something canned and only use part, push plastic down to the surface or as close as you can, eliminating the air helps it last longer.
These all look incredible. I’m trying it! Thank you
I see this as 70 meals lol Typo ? Haha
Thanks! I dig learning new things to make!! Easy, cheap, but yum! Especially the egg sausage casserole.
Great job. You show us all it can be done.
You’ve got great energy and enthusiasm
