Jason Barato is the chef and owner of Ragu Scratch Pasta, a family-run takeout pasta restaurant in Toronto, Canada.
I had the pleasure of producing, filming, and editing this video together.
When I first entered Ragu, I was greeted by Jason and his wife, Raquel, who were incredibly friendly. I was immediately captivated by Jason’s story—a Michelin-trained chef who once ran the popular fine-dining restaurant Trattoria Giancarlo in Toronto’s Little Italy, and later chose to open a takeout pasta shop.
