In the heart of the aristocratic district of Chiaia, in Naples, just a stone’s throw from the seaside, this prestigious 1,300 sqm apartment is for sale, occupying the entire Piano Nobile of a historical building. The interior rooms have high ceilings and are very bright thanks to big windows. Spread over two levels, the flat for sale houses three spacious suites and eight bathrooms. On the upper floor, it has six spacious rooms used as offices and eight bathrooms. A balcony with a 200 sqm terrace frames the entire perimeter of the main floor, creating the ideal space for moments of relaxation to enjoy the breeze coming up from the sea.

The palace was commissioned in the second half of the 19th century by Duke Thomas of Savoy, brother of Margaret of Savoy Queen of Italy, and wife of King Umberto I. The construction was entrusted to the Ticino architect Augusto Guidini, who also collaborated on the construction of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. In 1873, the palace was purchased by the noble family of the Sanfelice di Monteforte family.

This majestic aristocratic property for sale in the Chiaia district of Naples is ideal for those seeking a residential or representative property within a stately and historical building, where they can savor the elegance of times gone by.

  1. After such a long time I am checking these videos @Stefanie. How are you doing? Great property and location.

  2. I get that it's not a residence but the interior decor was disappointing, dare I say awful. Would like to have seen the roof space.

  3. Only to say Savoy is synonym of luxury . This splendid palace could easily be a luxurious hotel . Stephanie , always bringing majestic properties . THANKS ! 🏆🥇🌠

  4. Where are the bathrooms? It would be a lot of work to turn this into a livable space. Thank you Stephanie for the tour.

  5. Hermosísimo apartamento, respetando las formas y elegancia de antaño. Obviamente Stephani pone su belleza a disposición del entorno. Muchísimas gracias por este paseo paseo en tan grata compañía por Chiaia… El azul le queda perfecto.

  6. Nice place. But it will require a lot of work and deep pockets to return this into anything resembling a habitable private residence.

  7. Thank you Stefanie. I was stationed in the Naples area in the 80's and spent 6 years there. Thanks for bringing me back some fond memories of my "second home".

  8. Beautiful place. Very tastefully done. And Im not an expert on this kind of property especially one in Naples,
But I think they will not be able to get 15 million for this. Maybe 8 million ? But even then, it is not clear what is for sale.
Is it the whole building or just the two main floors of a four story building ? And/or, does it include the outer buildings on the same lot?

  9. Like the property is unbelievable and such a blank canvas for the future buyer,, well presented,,☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland 👍

  10. This squared palace brings every room soft natural lights. Even watching the white walls is a great enjoyment.

  11. they were poor people and people suffering in that period…but in 1860 they according with UK and FR to invede and destried and stole everything in South Italy, Regno di Napoli, the REAL RICH ITALY, and military suprime to destroy to continue the UK and FR slave iin Mediterranean sea, and you can watch with your eyes what they did to all people…

  12. Beautiful building. Too bad the interior does not match the exterior. Most of the period moulding, trim, plasterwork has been removed and left with plain flat walls and ceilings. The interior looks like a newly built office building (boring, plain, stark, cold). It would be lovely to see someone restore its interior beauty if it were ever made a home again.
