Just got our power back on after a very scary night in SC. Have to say these episodes and with Grampy Stumpf are my favorite. Michael is such a nice kid. My husband was a lot like him at that age. Every pot has its lid. You're gonna find her (or him) Michael!

Michael, I have been in your shoes. You’re making good decisions. Don’t let the peer pressure give you doubts or derail you from your goals. I didn’t smash anyone in my early years because I didn’t want to have a child I couldn’t afford to have and support payments on top of that. Don’t date cougars either. That’s from experience. That’s all that is in my area as it’s slim pickens with what is in the dating pool here. They’re already done having the kids they want to have and decided to leave the father of those kids for someone that makes them feel young and can be an ATM for them.

I understand the issues Michael sees, as a single male, when I’m in a public environment and someone I just met is trying to set me up with their single sister or friend, without the sister/friend having any actual interest or clue who I am or why I’m being brought to her attention. LOVE IT

Kids are expensive. Should you be dead ass broke and have children? No. My daughter, IMHO, forced my wife and I to break generational poverty. My wife and I are 39. She's 23. I wouldn't recommend it….and we could've really damaged her. Her childhood is different than her brother's 7 years younger. We made the HARD line rule of parenting to be…ALWAYS be THERE. She's getting married to a dude that, in all seriousness, is everything I'd hope a son-in-law would be. Both of my children are incredible and I truly couldn't imagine life without them. I'm not just saying that.
I think the bigger unicorn is the fact that the girl I fell for in hs is still the love of my life.

Michael, I think you seem like a pretty decent young man! I always listen to CH Podcast and admire Andy for the things he's done in his life, but he's also a cynical, sarcastic, "whatever" kinda guy. Just immulate his good qualities not the bad and you'll do great!!
