Very nice, but that's about 100K of restoration work to do. It would be grand afterwards, but will take a while and will be a handful.
my god thats got potential !!
It's huge
👀❤️😘
What a beautiful large apartment. Beautiful tiled floors. Could live in while doing renovations
Love it. Nice and old.
wow that place is awesome
Great project! And you had attracted attention from several male admirers in the opening. Typical Italy! lol You said the building will need the electricity to be redone? How much does that range for a house this size? And does the plumbing need to be redone as well or is it usable?
Where is the nearest parking?
A gorgeous property! At least 300.000 euros to renovate it. I would hire professionals and a decorator. A lot of potentials. I wish I could buy it.
Always love watching your property videos, very well done.
This is my favorite house that you have ever shown! Wow! I hope it is kept as a one family home and not split up, like so many other family homes! ❤
Wonderful house. Thanks for showing us around
For Renovition 400.000 euros😊
Is big house for renovation 400.000 euros🎉🎉
well that was interesting. a great size and a wonderful cantina . its a shame there wasn't a garage too. I'd think $200,000 would make it pretty nice again. nice to find those size rooms in town. I'm not sure what id use them all for.
Those folks were obviously somebody back in their day.
What would a range be for remodeling cost starting at $700, if you weren't going crazy with costs? $800, $900 a sq Meter?
Wow! …. the 'bottom' of a home (cantina/cellar/space getting the least light) usually interests me the least… but when you showed the medieval door and talked about the probable development of the house historically upwards with following generations… wow that became ⏳️🌒🌖 mystical 🎉🌈❤…. the passage of time within a single building is not long in New Zealand (a youngish country).
This is Magic Stuff. 😊
Ciao Fiorella and Aden, this house is massive, all the rooms are big, there is a lot of potential, if it's possible, I would take out the wall that separates to two upstairs bathroom and make it a nice big one. I love the terrace and would definitely find someone to restore the medieval door in the cantina. There is so much you can do with that space as well. Loved the house. Tanto amore da N.Y.
If I win the lottery, sure but so much work. Whaat an opportunity tho!
Wow! What a magnificent palatial looking home! And all that history in the cantina!
Huge property. I hope it's not cut down into apartments or office/commercial space. Perfect for a family, or at the very least, an amazing holiday rental for families and couples.
Fabulous 😍🤩, F. Grazie mille 🎉❤🎉❤
There are some gorgeous floors in this one!
🎉🎉🎉
It really is to big even for a family.
It could be divided into two or three apartments, but that is a lot of work, money and time.
Ciao
Honestly, it seems too good to be true. The question is: Why has it been sitting for years?
Wow 🤩
A vey doable project! The room under the terrace with the mould growing in it can be cured by doing a complete waterproofing of the entire area around the terrace as well as using a sealant on the tiles on the terrace floor. Now to cure the mould issue one must empty the room and spray the entire ceiling and walls with a chemical especially designed to kill black mould. Once walls and ceiling are sanitized they can be painted with a paint containing a mould killing chemical. The black stripes on the ceiling indicate that there is no insulation between the terrace and ceiling below. In the summer it is critical to allow the room to dry as much as possible at which point one will need to install a false ceiling with at least 10 cm of rigid styrofoam insulation followed by steel framing for drywall and finally the drywall.
A hint to those who wish to tackle a remodel project like this I would suggest taking photos of each wall and in certain areas of the ceiling to document where the electricians and plumbers have installed the utility lines. It is great for future reference to have on hand in case of trouble in the future.
What is under the 1st floor on the side of the corner? It's probably over double the size of the ground floor shown here?
A fantastic large house, the price is good, but definitely for someone who has additional funds to renovate, someone younger that has the time to finish such a huge project and a vision to complete it.😊 Thank you for showing it.
Everyone is saying how much to renovate. But can you work on the house yourself in Italy. I am a contractor and could probably do most of the repairs and/or upgrades myself. Is that possible
This is so beautiful, hopefully who gets it will keep the ancient details, doors and tiles and bring all this to shine again.
Nice, my grandmother passed away but she had small tiny house in Italy. So far this house is little bigger then what she was living in.
This is very similar to Chicago bungalow homes, having 2nd kitchens in the basement for the summer time, previous to Air Conditioning or before Air Conditioning was affordable.
They started these homes in Chicago in the late 1950's.
Rich mansions had them for years previously so domestic help cooked in cooler kitchens and did not pass-out from summer heat. They would then transport all meals up to the dining rooms by
"Dumbwaiters" or outside for Chicago's
Lakeview dining!
