Great story except ice cream first in China.
The truth about Roy's video is:
1) both Roman and Persian (not just persion) had the habit of mixing fruit with crushed ice;
2) We do not know if the Arabs invented Sorbets or not…but just for clarity, Japanese where mixing syrup with crushed ice from before there were was an Arab civilization;
3) first ever ice cream like food/desert was recorded in Persia, adopted by the Mongols in China – who were familiar with the japanese sorbet – brought to Italy by Marco Polo and made widespread in France….so it wasn't really 3 different civilizations…rather 6 different civilizations…
